Duck Hunting a HEATED Slough | Solo Hunt in FRIGID Weather

Matt is out on a solo afternoon hunt with his 20 gauge pump. He sets a spread and waits for the ducks to fly. Temperatures are frigid but eventually some birds show up. It was another good day of duck hunting.

I don’t comment a lot, but wanted to let you know how much I love this channel. My 5 year old loves duck hunting and I can’t go without him. A LOT of other channels he can’t watch because they cuss non stop (we are a Christian family) and I don’t want him watching stuff like that over and over. I greatly appreciate the sportsmanship you show and teach! God bless

Ouah ! What a refreshing discovering vidéo with OUR actual température in the 100°F as it feels! You are sturdy and I Wish I as tough as you are to stand it, not sure, even After THREE years in Finland! I am impressed to with your efficience and shooting skills with your "old" Remington 870 20 ga and Federal ammunitions I Guess... That gave me back confidence to used Again my own, bought in 1989, an Uplander, shorter barrel and straight stock, I owe it my first Woodies on a beaver pond in Virginia, with the first available Winchester ammo in Steel #4, skeet chokes as they dived to decoy.... Memories! I still have it and might give it a try Again with TSS18 Tungsten and/or Boss... Thanks for sharing all these Moments Again ! You are making out summer Mr Matt!

Love those little green wings as well. Beautiful ducks and great eating. For your late season auto hunting in the extreme cold try FP10 lubricant. You shouldn’t have any problems with the cold as long as you clean off all your old oil. I’ve owned quite a few Benelli’s and have learned to never use the oil they give you or any regular lubricant especially when hunting the extreme cold.

I have a quick question for you, I love to hunt ducks but it seems like I can only get low flying teal into my spread, mallards circle but never come down. I know im hid but if you have maybe any ideas why they wont finish I would love to hear it. Thanks!

@milstator I'd make sure you have a landing zone in your spread. Don't typically want it too tight. I'd also double check your hide just to be safe
