The race against daylight was real, hustling out to what looked like 80+ ducks the night before, hitting a few sandbars along the way. The morning started out at a chilly 29 degrees but it wasn’t long until we were sweating our butts off navigating through what turned into a 1 mile trek… This was the type of hunt where you are loading your gun as you're walking into the hole at the break of dawn just to realize there are already decoys out.
