Chasing the Opener! Minnesota Public Land Duck Hunting Opener!
Duck opener and chasing the opener is here! On this duck hunt I head to Minnesota for the first big duck opener of the season. With Wood ducks, teal and mallards on the table the hunting got exciting fast. I glad to be chasing the openers and duck hunting again I hope you guys enjoy!

I knew when I left the dock I saw you boys. I had the old school camo boat with the GTR right when you pulled in. Opener was pretty rough and rainy.

Im from iowa and have been lucky to shoot some cool ducks this opener if you had water was great 10 ducks for the morning for Us

Looks like Wesson had a couple good finds on what would have been otherwise lost birds. Hopefully the rest of the openers are more fruitful.

Keep a good eye on the dog's eye. Last season my dog had the same thing, and it turned into an 'un healing ulcer' that required vet visits and cost her the season.

Maybe put thread locker on them bolts if you’re going to keep that set up . Sorry that happened , at least no one hurt. Good luck this season

@@DuckGunChronicles yep we get maybe 1 volley at first light then they dive bomb our decoys trying to scatter them and pick them off in the air. Then you wont see another eagle until you hit a duck call lol brings them right back in.

Those wheels are not supposed to be mounted like that at all. It will happen again and next time it could fly off and kill someone. Get a hub with proper studs and lug nuts because that set is extremely dangerous.

I know you do some Iowa hunting and I am a learning taxidermist looking for birds to practice on. I would love to get a male and female wood duck to practice on or mallard. But really anything cool and worth my money and time but to also get some practice. Maybe could even work out a deal. I live in central iowa.
