Welcome to part 26 of my Two Point Hospital walkthrough where I'll be showing you how to take on every hospital and get all 3 stars!
In this video, we look at the hospital Duckworth-Upon-Bilge. In Duckworth, we face real money test! Duckworth is a public hospital and we get no money from diagnosing or treating patients!

It took so long to get 3 stars. But following your tips and a few I have discovered for generating money and saving money First... I use weigh scales because they give the same 1% for treatment and diagnosis and cost less than the medicine cabinet.Second I have two researchers to keep a stream of 45k coming in constantly. Third... your idea to keep templates ready to meet the requests for goals but immediately sell until I really need them. Fourth ..I have a mega staff room to get me over the hump for staff morale. Fifth...I think I got from you is to fire level 4 docs and hire clean slates because it pays to train staff . Thanks for all your help. It has made playing Two Point so fun and a rewarding challenge

Two Point doesn't have a bunch of replay strength. Great game. So I'm hoping that at some point they will open up "hospital design construction" so players, within parameters, may design their own levels and campaigns for others to play.

I hate this level, I can get 3 stars easily on any other level but this I can't beat. I wish I could just skip it.

this one is hard for me to because we use public targets to get money instead of getting it the normal way

It’s very tough! Remember though you can cancel requests to get different (hopefully easier) ones! Also if you get a request that is temperature x% or attractiveness x% once you do it bring your hospital back down to what it was so you get the requests again!

It is a tough one! But there are a few tricks to make it easier like declining objectives you don’t want to do.

Last part for 3 stars. The cure rate. It’s coz my hospital has high lvl so got a very high influx of patients. Annoying

Maybe give the staff a salty snacks machine rather than cheesy gubbins? That'll make them more thirsty so they're more likely to grab an energy drink before they leave.

why I keep getting targets related to the surgery room while me here dont like that room (due to the cure rate)

Yeah it’s tough in there but if you build one big enough and fill it with lots of medicine cabinets it helps!! Can easily get a 20-30% cure boost in there.

Yes! If you click on the room and go on the stats menu (should be the first menu that opens) you can click the + sign about half way up which will add an extra staff member. I do it at 06:50 in this video.

First of all thank you for the help. How do I get rid of reputation stuck at 0%? My hospital is doing great but my reputation got stuck at 0%, no matter what

Reputation is based off cure rate, patient happiness and hospital level. One off events like emergencies, vip visits and pandemics will also increase reputation. Finally marketing campaigns will boost your rep. So improve cure rates (training, upgrades, medicine cabinets etc), patient happiness (entertainment, lower prices, drinks/food) and increase the number of rooms to increase hospital level. Word of warning, reputation can actually go below 0% you just don’t see it going further down so stick at it you’ll get there!!

@@PowerPlays my hospital is doing great. High cure rate and everything. I’m on tear 5 with great staff and layout. Prices at 0. But my reputation remais at 0%. I think it might be some kind of bug

Oh no that doesn’t sound right at all! Have you tried running a few marketing campaigns to see if it makes a different. I’d say run them for a year or two in game time and even if you were a lot below 0% before it should put it up. I really hope its not a bug for your sake!!!

I’m having trouble getting my reputation up on this level any tips ?

So reputation is impacted by; Room prestige Hospital size Cure rate Patient happiness Emergencies / vip visits Easiest one here is room prestige and hospital size. Taking on all emergencies and vip visits (warning if they go bad it’ll decrease your reputation). If you have a high cure rate your patients will tend to be happier which should help reputation also but I know this is a harder one to get right. Failing the above things you can do a marketing campaign but your reputation will only go up once the campaign is over so I tend to stick to smaller length ones.

Yeah you’ll notice it go up. 4% isn’t bad, the game doesn’t show it but you can go into the minus!!!

At 20:35... I'm keeping *ahem* a head. No? I'll see myself out LOL! Thanks for this guide so far, I'm only this 20 minutes far in, the hospital is going well for now. I never had the staff available that you did (for hire) but I hired 2 non qualified docs & immediately trained them to be psychiatrists. My finances against yours are abysmal. The one thing I never did in all my other tries is the research lab. I should've done that. Anyway, I'll unpause & carry on now...... I'll likely edit this comment when I'm done :D 27:29 you have $158,000. How? I have 3 out 4 objections done but I'm at $53k. Shortly after I'm in the red. I followed everything you did bar the staff because they're random. Edit: Unless you get exactly what you got in terms of staff, this fails. There's no true walkthrough. I followed everything you did & the only thing different was staff recruitment. As far as I can see, once you've built the rooms you say, everything else is up to the RNJeezus. My research only Doc just keeps going off the job no matter what. Hospital went down from lvl 6 to lvl 5 :( I thank you for the initial set up

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah there is a bit of RNG depending on what staff you get but also in Duckworth specifically with which targets you get set (you can always reject targets remember!!). Best way to make money in this level is to reject the more difficult targets and if you get any which is attractiveness or temperature of X% make sure to bring it back down after, that way you will get the target again and it'll be super easy money. Good luck !!

@@PowerPlays I got 3 out of 4 objectives done then out of nowhere my cash just kept dropping 50k per time. I fired a few staff that were idle/looking for work, my research guy just kept leaving the room flailing his arms everywhere. I pretty much ended up bankrupt. Again. 😔

Do you focus on the targets? Removing the ones you can’t do quickly? You want to get through them asap and just chuck out the ones that will take longer so that you can get the cash in asap.

Agreed!! But if you're training your staff up to diagnose quickly then to level 3 treatment training (with fully upgraded machines) you will be fine!!

Why use so many medicine cabinets ?

They give treatment and diagnosis boosts to the room they are in. So if you have 25 of them in your GP office it will boost your diagnosis in that room by 25%. Couple that with a GP specialist trained dr and you got yourself some quick diagnosis!

No cash but the public targets! Yeah it's a rough one. Thankfully you don't have one of these again until the Bigfoot DLC in Underlook hotel, but it's only one!!

@@PowerPlays Like all levels it seems, it got easier the further you got in. Even having the cash for training and machine upgrades. I had to increase pay around 8% I think at the end, when staff satisfaction was the only thing left. I'm enjoying the first hot one so far.

Yeah quite often when you’re so close to the final star you can just get away with things like that to push you over the line. I often do it when hospital level is the final things to get.

@@PowerPlays Still enjoying the hot level. Couple of questions if you don't mind. You said it makes no difference what nurse accompanies the surgeon. That may well be the case, but it would be better if it made a difference that you used nurses with treatment skill. Anyway - since I have to use a nurse of some kind, I'll still use those with treatment skill. As I've just got to 3 stars, then moved on. Do you just keep getting more and more people arrive, so you have to keep accommodating them, or do they plateau out? I really should take time to get my hospitals super efficient after I've got the stars. I must say, not much has made me smile for years comedy wise - but the radio is so funny in this.

Ask as many questions as you like! So yes, it doesn't matter RE the nurse in the surgery but I 100% agree, when I do have a surgery I will always make it a treatment nurse as why not! I usually have more than I need so makes sense. So the amount of people that come into your hospital is based on hospital level and reputation. If you have an attractive hospital, high cure rates & high prestige rooms your reputation will increase and the people will come with it! More objects, rooms and staff will increase your hospital level and that increase the footfall. I love the radio station! You'll often find me laughing at the things they say in the videos. They add more bits in the DLC too so look out for those!

Duckworth-upon-Bilde is the dumbest... wait: DUMBEST... again: Dumbest Crap in this actually good game. I tried this mode at least 30 times. It made me stop playing the game. I wanted to play the DLCs but nope. This dumb mode just made me stop. When I was 10 years old, I might had the time for such stuff... but... nope. ^^

Have you tried rejecting the harder requests and waiting for the easy ones to come in? A big help is also when you get temperature or attractiveness requests once you meet them take it back down 1% as then you can get these requests again! Easy money!!
