I think you guys should do tug of war on tarmac road rather than a grassy lawn because there must be traction issues on the grass which results in slipping of the tyres and therefore we got no result.

I really like Suneel Manj but as a leading automotive reviewer, he should have managed a prepped surface for this tug of war. Who uses soil and grass surface?

soil is less damaging to cars mechanically because they can spin tyres otherwise the whole load is on transmission. And because the surface is same for both one can check. Its a useless test anyways and is only being done for entertainment value.

Both of you are wrong, its a cvt auto, it uses a system of belts and pulleys and is different compared to conventional auto or manual, the clutch autos shoaib is talking about is dct or some single clutch transmissions which are only on some high spec cars(single clutch ones), dct is common but sensitive technology....

@@_rtx_ regardless of dct or cvt both of these transmissions have a clutch pack located inside the torque converter. Torque converter is a separate mechanism that connects the transmission to the drive shaft. You can find many videos on youtube if you want to learn more about torque converters.

DCT transmission however doesn't have a torque converter but still has two clutches.

@@sohaibr3544 yes torque converter is a complete different system on its own, I am talking about the literal clutch in a cvt as in the pedal one which also sometimes smells burned when abused... A cvt also has a centrifuge clutch but its different compared to normal one...
