I don’t think any other KZfaq channel does viral videos quite like Dude Perfect. They’ve gone from a few friends in college doing trick shots in their backyard, to the one of the biggest channels in the world. Even after a decade of making content, every upload hits trending and beat's the KZfaq algorithm
So when Dude Perfect started their channel, I said they didn’t know what to expect but after reading a bit more about these guys, maybe they actually they did. Now KZfaq was still in its infancy stage in 2009, but the world had already got a taste for viral videos. Which brings us on to factor number 1, Dude Perfect built their channel around a high-growth niche, something that no-one else at the time did…
BUT…this is still only half of the equation. You could position yourself in the best niche, and make great thumbnails but if you don’t deliver in the actual video, it won’t work. Which takes us on to factor #2, the dude perfect formula.
So this the technical side of things thing, but…there’s still one more piece missing…plenty channels blow up on KZfaq, and then fade away just as quickly, what is different about dude perfect? Well in factor 3 let’s talk about their ‘’go big’’ strategy…and if you stick around, I’ll tell you how I learned about this directly from a member of Dude Perfect.

I agree with your 3 options, but I think you're missing the biggest reason they're successful. They're likeable! Any athletic group with enough time on their hands can make ridiculous trick shot videos that create views, but it takes a really likeable group of guys to continue to grow without fading out from repetitiveness. And they're well aware of this, slowly switching away from the trick shot videos and moving to challenge videos and their "overtime" videos which focus far more on their personalities as opposed to their amazing shots/skills. We are all introduced to their channel with the amazing trick shots but become hooked on it once we see the amazing chemistry between these 5 guys. Their positivity is infectious. In my opinion this is the real reason why this channel is so successful

Dude Perfect's set of guys are also great to watch in general. It's a bunch of guys hanging out, having fun, doing ridiculous stuff. Yeah the videos themselves are pretty good but I also watch their overtime segments and what not because of them as individuals.

Also just an idea but you should be making some weekly videos because you are gaining a fanbase Edit: and they dont even need to be a KZfaqr success video you could come up with other interesting ideas and people will still watch
