@@DudeMungus I haven't ridden the new Busa but I like what they have done with it. It doesn't need more power or torque but I note they have smoothed the delivery, which is great (how they did that and still achieved Euro 4 standards I don't know). I also note that they have raised the top triple clamp a bit, which is even better for comfort (did this to my Gen 2 with a 20mm bracket), improved the brakes, which was needed, and added a whole bunch of electronics, which is probably good but pushes the price up dramatically. They still have the same old side stand, which is prone to allowing the bike to roll off and fall over - which they could have fixed easily given the price???. However, overall, the new bike reflects the likely feedback of Gen 2 owners and I think it is safer. For me though, once you are used to the Gen 2, I don't see why I would need all that stuff, not for the price anyway. I also note the tank is smaller and fuel consumption is higher, making the range quite a bit less than the Gen 2. That is a negative for me as my Gen 2 goes close, if not over, 400klm on a tank cruising easily. If I were you, I would look for a Gen 1, 1999 copper head in original nick, that is the keeper - they are already selling for big bucks in original condition here in Australia, and are very hard to find. Alternatively, look for a Gen 2 yellow jacket (2013) like mine - it was limited edition (how limited I don't know but the word 'limited' sounds good). Cheers mate
