Watching this, I couldn't help but crack a smile when the pace started picking up and random songs started getting tossed in. Helps to see genuine enjoyment of artists loving their craft as well. It's all good fun for everyone, both participants and spectators. Thank you.

I consider myself an absolute purist when it comes to the original version of this arrangement. And yes, I am aware that the song predates Deliverance by a long shot, but I hold it to be the standard by which every version of the song can be measured...and all I gotta say is you guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. I feel as though you stayed very true to the spirit of it all. When you went minor, I started getting seriously excited, and then Bam...mandolin. It was damn near spiritual for me...well done. You are amazing pickers!!!

Yep that's when I took my headphones off hooked up the stereo system and told my husband he has to listen to this because she in the Rock Band guitar I mean I should should say delete read guitar player so he could appreciate it that was phenomenal trust me this is coming from a person that only listens to Christian music for years. But that was awesome

Anyone who knew the dueling banjo song as theme song from the movie Deliverance will never forget it. It was stunning. This band has now introduced the new era of dueling banjos with their variation of tossing in other iconic melodies. Well rounded and enjoyable. the musicianship is superb. Bluegrass fan from South Africa.

I´m mexican but I love this traditional bluegrass music that you play. Dueling Banjos and Foggy Mountain Breakdown are my favorites. Amazing! Congratulations! By the way, where is the place from the video? Beautiful.

I have heard this song hundreds of times and every time the bajo starts playing the hammer-ons the anticipations grips me and then when they start in on the rolls I can't help but to grin like its the first time I have heard it.

This is so, so Irish it makes me so very happy to hear it. Our Irish forefathers who left for the new world took our glorious celtic music with them, and it's such a brotherly music to our own that all I can is smile like child! To my Irish ears, this could literally be any pub in Ireland and it would be heaving filled with people, so it would.

@Southern Raised. I live in Northern Ontario Canada and I absolutely LOVE your music. I can't imagine how much hard work you all had to put it and still do to make such AWESOME sound. You are so well put together and all good lookin' too. I am your biggest voice up here. I am spreading the word. Southern Raised is what I tell people and they look at me weird. Then I say, "Google them you won't be disappointed." The next day they come to work with a smile on their face and just say "YUPP, Southern Raised!" I wish everyone could hear you guys. What great fun! I love this rendition. I liked the more traditional one Matt and Alex did as well but this was a great take and it involved the entire group. There must be something to that ole "pickin and a grinnin" because when you folks are pickin I am grinnin! Love it!
