All right, you guys inspired me. I played when the game first came out until 2010 or so. I dug out all my old decks last week. Rubber bands had snapped on them all. I found 10 distinct decks. I made another one from my loose cards. I also made a proxy deck with pen and paper to replace the good Elemental Heroes deck that one of my students stole from my office. I'm now doing a tournament with all 12. I wish i had a friend to help play and record some videos like yours. I have decks like Crystal Beast, Fire Princess, Blue Eyes x3 (no fusions, it never worked), Dinosaur (esp Tyranno Infinity), VWXYZ machines, and Dark Magician with Dark Paladin. Nice to play them again.

The Just Desserts win, I felt that on a personal level lmao. Back in the day, I lost a duel due to that card and Magical Cylinder together with Wave-Motion Cannon lmao. Dude let me beat him down to his last 350 LPs before using that as I was about to attack. I'll never forget that shit lmao.

I really like the compilations of older videos, I only recently got into the Yugioh TCG + your guys' videos so I wasn't seeing these as you guys were posting them! The timestamps are also super helpful, I watch one duel at a time and come back to these longer videos when I have some free time :)

Been on the hunt for the US Starter Deck series (including Joey and Pegasus) for some time now, but to no avail. I'd imagine the prices are crazy now maybe. Unfortunately I didnt keep all my Collector Box ones either.

SDK from 02 was my first Yugioh product. Got it at a flee market of all places. I was like that's the BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON! Looking back I should have tried to convinced my dad to get me 5 of them. 3 for a deck, 1 to sell when it became rare, and 1 to keep.

I bought my very first yugioh deck at a 7-11 when the duelist kingdom arc was still going.

Playing with the old cards for a change is very fun, but you gotta admit, when playing with LOB on a progression series, like I also did, you easily arrive at a stalemate, since it is almost impossible to get over 2k DEF with them^^ Also funny how Alec did the anime move with Ultimate Offering^^ Isn't it interesting, that actually, Two-Pronged Attack was terrible back then, but could be kinda ok nowadays due to monsters triggering their effects when destroyed by card effects?

Everyone needs to stop complaining about the “rule violation” in duel one. They were playing with the duelist kingdom decks, so obviously they get to play by duelist kingdom rules.

If you do compilation videos in the future, recommend having time stamps so that we know which versions of the decks are dueling (2002, 2004, etc)

my first yugioh product was getting some legacy packs and the crystal beast structure deck when i finally found a card shop to go to. i dont have anyone to play with irl but i still have been getting some packs and structure decks and even a speed duel tournament pack. i really wish i grew up with yugioh.

Idea suggestion! You should take all the Kaiba and Yugi Decks that have been released from the first starter deck all the way to the most recent structure deck and with the cards from these decks make two 40 card decks, one with cards from the yugi decks and one with cards from the Kaiba decks and duel best of 3. Just saying it would be pretty cool and interesting to see what you'll create with what's given.

the original yugi deck got bricked hard there wasnt any card in it that stood up to the blue eyes white dragon at base and dark magician could only win with the book of secret arts plus the yami field spell in pplay how ever if the blue eyes was equipped with dragon treasure and the mountain field was in play the blue eyes had 3500 atk and could not be stopped by battle the only saving grace was dark hole and man eater bug and the later only worked if the lord of d was not in play
