I agree with Seereax on this one. Atribute support is WAY to open for certain types (Specially Light, Dark, and Earth). It should be monster types. Would make the decks more concise with the actual wheel spin.

I think I agree with Seereax on the attribute support vs type support thing. The whole point of this to me is to let each archetype shine on their own (good or bad). I think type support alone does that better than type and attribute. Sam says there isn't enough type support out there, but there is for most archetypes. Winged beast definitely had enough without going to Wind attribute support. The support may not be great, but that's part of the fun of the series.

The problem with that is if one of them pulls atlantean for example theyre not allowed to play legendary ocean despite it clearly being support. There are archetypes which only have an attribute in common rather than a type meaning any type only support will be useless.

I can see what you getting at as it being more restrictive makes them work hard to show of the cards but at the same time the cards attribute are apart of their overall value. If you wanted to run a pure deck of any archetype then you would probably play cards that include their attribute. I could honestly see it going either way and don't care which one they choose to do.

@@extonjonas6820 @Rainbow Raccoon I see where both of you mean. I guess it just really depends on the archetype. Hard to have a set rule in general that works best for everything. As long as there is a higher priority for literal archetype support (even if they suck) over extra attribute/type support then I guess I'm fine with any rule they decide on for extra support.

Nah we don't need to explain much but yeah damn he played like 9 cards that interupt your opponent really being a spirit support, Icarus attack, wind charmer, Even a card had the name Speedroid ON it. Man, Sam's deck literally can do 20 more things outside of the point of the deck than Seereax because he played so much cards like that. It doesn't feel neccessarily fun most of the time I like the way their old F tier wheel works more where we have more funny moments about cards with the picture of the archtype in it while having a generic effect, or just generally playing all the archtype had to offer. Hope we get more like this fr fr.

@@samknowles3189 exactly what I was gonna say. Like yes in the vast majority of cases SeeReax is right, it would eventually lead to dumb situations down the line if they don’t allow attribute. This duel was just one case where the attribute ruling was overkill.

different rules and speedroid had two different effects. if he used the effect involving speedroid then yes but he used the wind attribute effect.

@@fallendionysus8419Yet the card is still A Speedroid card. It's not a generic one like Icarus attack. It's wind support, but not Generic wind support. Honestly this is the same concept as playing lightsworn spells in a generic chaos deck. If deck is X then you shouldn't play card Y in it just because it makes your deck better. Better decks tend to make worse decks playable.

Apparently according to the Master Wheel website, speedroid dupligate is generic wind support, so it works in any WIND deck.

If Sam can play Speedroid due to the "wind" attribute, seereax should be able to play allure of darkness x3, dark sacrifice, Wee Witch's apprentice, dark armed dragon, Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair, eradicator epidemic virus, and armageddon knight. They are ALL "Dark" support.

I don't think they would allow attribute monster support. Only attribute support from spells and traps. At least that's how they did it in the F-Tier wheel battles. In other words, keeping it to archetype specific monsters, but not necessarily spells and traps.

Sereax must be your dad with how defensive you are. Why would he be able to play monsters outside of the archetype? As far as spells and traps go, he said he could play them if he wanted. apparently, they did agree because he said he sent him a document with the rules in it.

the speedroid card shouldnt be in sams deck because it directly calls out speedroids, if it was just a generic wind support then it would sit right with me. i dont think they should use cards that just happen to have generic support when it clearly calls out the deck it supposed to be in. which is why i dont mind sam's field spell, even though it's clear sigmough support, it doesnt mention sigmough by name in its effect. making it generic wind support. i hope they go by rules like this in the future because i love these videos so much.

I’d say if it mentions another archetype in the title it should be off limits. Otherwise wind support should be alright. But if the rules keep like this that should also be fine. But this is an amazing series, can’t wait for more.

I agree with Seereax here, the support based on type makes more sense than the support based on attribute, expecially if the "support" has the name of other archetypes slapped on it. I'm not saying that Sam cheated (because he technically didn't), but playing a card from another archetype is kinda unfair because the theme here is that you're supposed to play with the archetype that you're given. I think general attribute support may still be fine but only if it doesn't present itself as a card that is part of an other archetype

I actually think I disagree, not out of hate, but they seem to be at each other's throats, ready to pop off on the other, I feel like the way they goof around doesn't work with their normal attitudes which is why they fit so well in their own friend groups, putting these two together is not the same as seereax and rhymestyle or even Doto and Sam🫤

The speedroid Trap mentions special summoning a speedroid if that card was in your grave. If you can't play support if mentions another specific archatype then that card shouldn't be allowed. I know the second effect wouldn't active but I feel like this is similar to the spellbook card Sam played from before. Can't wait for the next wheel selection.

I also agree with Seereax that it should be type support rather than attribute, because the whole point is that they are NOT meta decks, and using meta cards that are generic attribute support does defeat the purpose of them being E-Tier! But at the same time, I totally get what Sam is saying, so what about allowing 3 cards to be generic attribute support while the rest have to be limited to type support? Surely there's a way to balance it! Also, I think the LOSER should get a staple, not the winner, because it will snowball and only one person will get all the staples. Staples should go to the loser so that they have a slight edge next duel, which makes the tournament/series a lot harder to predict! Otherwise, I'm loving the series, Sam and Seereax! Y'all have incredible chemistry!

Love this idea. You guys have great chemistry together. Just the perfect amount of competitive and friendly. I love when Tubers play non-Meta decks, as a viewer its just a great change of pace from seeing nothing but broken ass cards going against each other.

Spirits will only be viable if they get support like malefics, basically field or continuous spells that stops the spirits from returning to the hand and give them other benefits like battle destruction or something. (Problem is even with malefics support they were still outclassed by every deck back then)

I wouldn't count Speedroid Dubligate as a staple Wind-support. The second effect of that card specifically mentioned speedroid-monsters. I know the first effect can be used with any windmonster, but come on.

He got mad at seerax for using that goblin support saying it had to be an actual goblin card now he’s playing speedroid with shino lol. I still love these videos and both of them but let’s be honest. When he’s winning he’s fine with any support but if he’s loosing he’s gunna want the support to be specific. Seerax doesn’t really care either way he just wants Sam to pick one and stay with it lol if we can use support loosely then fine. If we can’t then fine. But don’t tell me I can’t use support when you’re loosing but then you use support loosely to win as well lol makes no sense lol this is like watching two actual brothers battle and I’m here for it lol. Maybe the cards you can add to your deck should have another restriction other than matching your type/attribute. So far it sounds I bit like you play something like the e tier category but fill up your deck with (theoretical) s tier support cards

As someone else mention I do not think it would be recommended to allow generic attribute-support because the decks will be filled with staples like Allure of Darkness and Diablos in every Dark Deck. Type support is more oriented to certain decks allowing a greater range of videos and also keeping in line with the ideia of showing those gimmicky decks that wouldn't be played in competitive. Not only that but having a Wheel of Staples where they'll get cards is kind of moot if they can already get staples for themselves, they don't need Pot of Extravagance if they can play Allure for example.

It's only SPELL AND TRAP attribute support. So no diablos. This means you still have to play the strategy. Allure of darkness literally only gets you more of the archetype's cards so it would be a good addition.

So by Sams rules, if Seereax spins ancient gear deck, he can play the entire pool of Therion cards, since they are EARTH MACHINE support. They will end up building decks the same way MBT build Ghostricks.

If you need to fill the deck, why not fill with (limit 1) N rarety cards or simple Remove Trap / Despell? I would think a card saying specifically 'speedroid' is a speedroid support card, lol. But I get it, its all for fun lol.

It has two effects banish a wind monster from gy to send a monster to the hand which Sam used n then the speedroidd part is u need to control a speedroid to summon the trap as a normal monster that's whys it's called speedroid something but the first effect u can use on any wind monster

I agree with Seerax. I think the support should be limited to type of monster rather than attribute. You're not using the cards that come with the deck you're using... you're using other cards from a different set. Suggesting he can play Lair of Darkness because he has dark types is just so dumb. Still fucking funny though hahahahaha that loop was genius lol
