"Part III of Bach's Clavier-Übung is a collection of organ music that starts with a big prelude
and ends with a fugue. In between, there are all these chorale arrangements. But then, just before the final fugue, the original edition has four duets. They're all two-part pieces of a peculiar nature." Organists Daniel Seeger and Laurens de Man talk about the four duets BWV 802-805, which they recorded for All of Bach on the Silbermann organ in Freiberg.

Une des inoubliabes pieces, intergree quasi pas coeur depuis # 78 ans pour moi, la jubilation sans fin, qui me nourrit de force et beauté. que jean Sebastien continue à a jouer ce passage entre notre monde illusoire, et notre ascension vers les univers qui nous ouvrent la voie vers ces multiples voies benies. Un guide irremplacable‼️ Qu'il nous précède a JAMAIS. MERCI 🌠💙🎶maintenant et jusqu'à nos fins dernieres

J S Bach knew of the Duet form from his study of French Organ Music. Bach took the French Organ Duet format and wrote in essence large Inventions a fusion of styles. One could say the Clavier Uebung Part 3 blended both the French Catholic and German Lutheran Schools of organ music into a monumental work unequaled to the present.

Quelles merveilles réunies ICI❗❣️ Chaque semaine, on essaie de DIRE combien toute oeuvre enregistrée, nous apparait selon une facette renouvelée , qu'on n'avait pas aussi bien comprise auparavant, parfois durant toute une vie pourtant... Ceci est un cadeau au Monde, pas moins, et je parle ici de l'Univers illimité, de la Création. Bach a dû écrire toute son oeuvre en état de présence divine, pour parvenir à nous transporter ainsi ! i like them looking about like children at christmast presents. For me it is the kind organists should look at this unique instrument. You can play it hard and brutal and cold as ice or soft and mellow or very still and subdued - the limiting factor always is the person behind the keys, not the instrument built centuries ago.---

Why do the students in the short film are convinced that JSB played on this organ? Freiburg? Bach did not even come close to the neighbourhood!

This organ is located in FreibErg, not Freiburg. Freiberg is in Saxony and not far from where Bach was living.

@@myopa99 Indeed, fascinating stuff... allthough, I'd like to stress that the assumption that Bach visited Freiberg might be likely (Bach was a famous organ expert, knew Silbermann, and was active in the Leipzig-Dresden area) but remains speculation!:)
