Powered by the sun, the Sunforce Solar String Lights add a warm glow to backyards, patios, gazebos, campsites and more. Solar power charges the included battery during the day, allowing the lights to run at night for free!

Thanks! I’ve been up in until 3 am and you can see the lights still on after kicking on at about 830pm so I would say 6 to 8ish hours depending on how much charge they got that day. You can turn them off and let the battery fully charge for days you want to be out hanging outside.

I'm returning a 2nd set of these lights back to Costco. The first set, the bulbs won't stay, so I returned the set. I purchased another set and this time, two of the bulbs lights didn't light up. So, here I go again to return the lights! Sorry but I'm going to try another brand. I'm so glad that I got these at Costco because you can return your items without any fuss.

Bought two sets at Costco last summer and set them up on the roofline of our recreation cabin. The remote control feature worked fantastic to click on/off both sets at the same time. At the end of summer, I took them down and carefully stored them. I just set them up again and the lights will turn on an off by the switch at the back of the solar panel only. Both remote controls no longer work and despite replacing with new batteries, they still don't work. I'd have to use a 20 foot extension ladder to turn on the lights for them to be illuminated and that's not going to happen! I'll be taking the two sets back to Costco and will be writing to Sunforceproducts. Too bad because they worked amazing...for two months.

Happened to me twice now. I wrote the company, they sent me a reply to turn off panels, remove batteries of solar panel for 30 seconds, reinstall panel batteries, turn on, hold remote button down for 5 seconds. They wrote that should fix it. Voila, it did nothing. Then they said it's easiest to return to costco. So I switched them out at costco. If I have to keep on doing that, thts a pretty crappy solution. It's a shame because besides that, they're great.

We put up two strings which we liked. When one string went out we thought the rechargeable solar battery needed to be replaced. It is impossible to find a replacement battery. We looked everywhere. The battery is a 18650 1800 mAh 3.7V. I could find a similar one at Ace but is 2600 mAh which would probably work if it fit in the battery space but it’s a tiny bit too big. So we’re screwed.

@@karenbrown354 I needed up returning then and got the same type but with the plug. The plugged lights have a longer cord. And are easier to screw into the sockets.

Do you if you can add more string lights and how would that be possible?
@EveryDayJay415
@EveryDayJay415 2 жыл бұрын
These solar ones are just single units. You can just install a 2nd one where the first one end. I would put the solar panel part on opposite ends to space them apart. If you wanted lights you can connect together you would have to go with 120v plug in options I have linked in the description. Thanks for the comment, it would be awesome if you could subscribe for more and please use my product links. It doesn't cost you anything but it really helps this small channel out!

They might but I don't think they will have much holding power. because the block are very pourious. I would look into PL glue. (amzn.to/3AAJddF) a dab on that on the back of the mounts should work fine. let me know if you need any more help!

I have the same string lights from Costco that were installed in my yard this summer. They work great but now that its gotten colder outside, I've noticed 1/2" of water in the bottom of 1 of the bulbs and a second one is starting to take on water. I don't see where rain could be entering so I believe it's condensation. Are you experiencing anything like this? Joe

Hmm I’ve been out in the yard all day it was 77 degrees on the 7th of December. Need less to say we don’t get much cold around here so I haven’t had that issue. Where are you located? If I were you I would take them down for winter or at least cover them. I’ve had similar lights that would get wet and keep on tickling so they should still be fine. Thanks for the comment subscribe for more!!!

I didn't realize they took out the auto sensor. To be honest I would like that set up better because I like to just control my lights with the switch are usually leave them off and then turn them on when I want to use them that way I know the batteries are fully charged.

Got it. What you do is turn on your remote. The good ones will turn on. Ok. Next- turn on the bad one. Then turn off your remote. All will turn off including the bad one. Turn on again, now all are in-sync. All will turn on.
