South Central Missouri, July 3 - A harrowing scene unfolded on Missouri Highway 95 early morning as a driver, allegedly impaired by alcohol, or drugs recklessly crossed the center line multiple times and drove into oncoming traffic.
The incident occurred near Gentryville at approximately 5:00 a.m. The motorist who is seen in this full video, repeatedly crosses the center line, fully entering the opposite lane and putting themselves and other motorists at risk of serious injury or fatality.
Despite the gravity of the situation, authorities were initially unavailable to respond due to the early hour. A dispatcher informed me that there would be no available units in the area at that time.
Fortunately, no one was injured or killed in the incident.
This incident serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of impaired driving and the importance of prioritizing road safety. It is unclear whether any charges will be filed against the driver in this case.
