The genius Duke Ellington and his great musicians. Love them madly

A delight to see these musicians having fun. An incredible rhythm section that allows Ernie Shepard to be seen well (as in few films). Johnny Hodges' Mood Indigo is one of the most beautiful I've heard from the Duke orchestra. I think Paul Gonsalves' solo on Diminuendo is even superior to the Newport version, because, apart from him, the orchestra is at a point of perhaps more intense complicity. Congratulations for posting this marvel.

*Intense complicity,* I like that and will be using it from now on. Thank you!

Aquest solo del Gonsalves ("Diminuendo and Crescendo in blue") és bo, sí, però Ellington el va explotar massa repetidament des del Newport Jazz Festival del 1956.
