The winding melody of the guitar, and the way it has a distant "echo" alongside it, is fucking beautifully done. You wouldn't expect a fuckin' Duke Nukem game to evoke passion and desperation in its music, but there it is. Duke might treat a situation like a gleeful Sunday drive, but the reality of what he's going through - and what he's fighting to prevent - are harrowing, compelling experiences.

I had a great time doing this soundtrack and others for Sunstorm! From Flint, MI, I was a guitarist for a band called Tempter that was an early version of Grindcore pioneers, Repulsion! All is true!

Honestly this game had to be my favorite Duke Nukem game hands down. Was so fun honestly, like just figuring out how not to die from bosses, and that damn level with the metal detector that takes all your crap... was crazy interesting and fun. The other stuff didn't help either :D Would love to get a faithful remake that's essentially just a visuals, gameplay, content and mechanics upgrade, with all the same levels and junk :D

@@Neskess 20th Anniversary World Tour is the only option on Steam because of Randy (This is why Civvie calls it the Cursed Randy Version as well as it not having any of the expansions) the Atomic Edition is on a different store called The Zoom Platform and that has the DC Caribbean and Christmas expansions but it uses Dosbox if you are fine with that. I don’t have a good computer so I can’t use a source port like EDuke or Raze. I want to play Alien World Order but don’t want to pay money for the Cursed Randy Version
