I proposed a simple solution at a city mtg after a DOJ investigation into our police shooting a homeless man; let cops sit w/ law students in classes and get law licenses/certifications. Police union shot it down saying they have all the training they need in the academy, they have not time "in this day and age" and the aging force cannot keep up w/ these useless trainings. Yup, thats what the union said behind closed doors to push back on on every DOJ mandate.

Over 30 years ago Outside Deming New Mexico.b I was stopped by a New Mexico State Police. Back then the speed limit Was still 55. Cop gave me a ticket for doing 64. I get out of my car walked over opened his door and took a picture of his radar!!!! They want to know what I was doing I said collecting evidence for court??? And this was 20 years before body cameras and dash cameras??? So I drove all the way back to Deming a 4-Hour drive for the speeding ticket show up in court??? The judge had gone fishing that day!!! So I went down to the state police office and just ripped into the captain about it!!!! Then the next day I called the judge??? They wanted me to come back for court but I said no!!! I was already there on the day and time specified on the citation???

The training of these so called LEOs is pitiful. Once a person puts on the LEO costume, they have duties. Once they take the LEO costume off, they have rights. Colour of Law is very specific and the latitude used by some LEOs is outside their mandate.

They love to escalate at every scene even ones that I’ve already been taken care of when they show up. They start escalating. It is a scene where a woman shows up that someone gets tased or shot. That is not conspiracy theory it is a fact. We have seen too many videos where women have shown up and escalated a scene to the point of violence when there was no need to do so.
