I absolutely love it when Judge Simpson says, "Mr. Allen..." It is getting to the point where Judge Simpson doesn't even have to say "Mr. Allen". You know the perp is in trouble.

Some people think no-contact orders apply only in one direction, and if the person who obtained the order consents, or even initiates or requests contact, it's suspended until they shut the door again. Doesn't work that way

Yes but wouldn't that mean the no contact DOES only apply in one direction? If it apploes in both directions, the victim would also be in trouble, right?

@@seantimmons5900 What I meant was that even the person who obtained the order can't suspend or nullify it. That's the court's province.

These 2: defendants have to be the dumbest of them all. The first one comes to court with the victim. That's really beyond dumb. The second one fled, I can't blame him for that. Knowing you're probably going to jail is a hard thing to accept.

So the problem is the Judge proved the defendant should run; by deciding to revoke bond while he was not in the room before having concluded he ran rather than drug test. Oops. The process against the defendant must be squeaky clean. You can tell me it's a foregone conclusion, and you'd be right. It _does not matter_. Until he has had a chance to answer you can't revoke bond (except for no-show--and even then once you have him you still need a show cause hearing).
