Well I think the rinningan being an uzumaki dojustu was reasonable for a time since Nagoto was the first person we knew to have it

So many of these aren’t even dumb. The one about Madara possessing Obito would make sense at the time, also Naruto and Sakura too as well as Zetsu being Orochimaru’s experiment. So many of these would completely make sense to be fan theories at the time.

The theory about Kakashi was that his mother was probably from Inuzuka Clan. I think it's a nice connection. Also, I've never heard of the theory of Madara possessing Obito's body but now it just sounds reasonable. I think that could have been a cool concept.

The shisui one is kind of reasonable,although shisui using kotoamatsukami would be pointless since itachi would've followed shisui's wishes either way. Shisui still might've used kotoamatsukami just incase itachi decided against his final wishes. I doubt shisui used kotoamatsukami on itachi,but I wouldn't say it's a "dumb" theory...

Some of the theories are dumb but some of them aren't that bad: - Orochimaru being Jinchuuriki wasn't a bad theory given the existence of the Yamata-no-Orochi which is a myth about 8 tailed (!) 8 headed snake and Orochimaru appeared as multiheaded snake during the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight. It would also explain the 3rd Hokage focus on Orochimaru which mirrored his focus on Naruto - Tobi being Kagami is kind of random but not that unreasonable given we knew next to nothing about both of them - Naru/Saku wasn't a bad theory since it would fit Naruto's narative from zero to hero which would include to get the girl he wanted - Kakashi being connected to Inuzuka isn't that weird given his dog summons. But it was more often said that Rin was somehow connected to them given the marks on her face. - Zetsu being an experiment of Orochimaru isn't a bad idea. I personally though that he was an (accidental) experiment from the Land of Grass where the scientist were trying to recreate Mokuton Kekkei Genkai in order to protect their land against both the great nations and Hanzo - Rinnegan being Uzumaki clan dojutsu comes from the ideas about the child of prophecy - Tobi being Shisui isn't that illogical give what we knew back then about then - Kashin Koji turned out to be Jiraiya's clone so not that far from truth

Like a lot of people have said, most of these are plausable at worst. The only really dumb ones are time travel because the series never ever set anything like that up. Other than that all the Madara and Tobi and Uchiha stories totally make sense because all of that shit was always so up in the air, that's why Obito's reveal was so cool because it was surprising and it also made so much sense once we knew more about Madara

Given any other anime, they probably would've been together - Madara Theory: Obito did sound like Madara and he was manipulated by him even if it wasn't possession - Sasuke Theory: His original intent was to destroy Konoha and he did end up fighting Naruto - Kakashi Theory: Since the Inuzuka Clan specialize in dogs and Kakashi's summoning was a bunch of dogs, this wasn't too hard to believe - Shisui Theory: The Kotoamatsukami was used on Itachi but he did it to himself - Kurama Theory: Naruto techincally did absorb Kurama but it was his chakra - Kashin Koji Theory: Koji is Jiraiya... Well a clone of him

I feel like kishimoto wanted naruto and sakura to be together. That was his vision. I mean all of naruto was spent building the dynamic between them. At first sakura did acknowledge naruto but as troublesome prankster. That was the reason naruto started pranks. To get acknowledgenent. Then sakura was sasuke's fangirl as was hinata naruto's. We all thought that the fangirl phases would be over. Sakura slowly truly saw naruto and became his friend. Whereas hinata was at the same level in all 26 seasons. His fangirl. Yes naruto did stand up for her. But we all know he would have done that for literally anybody in the konoha 11. In shippuden naruto and sakua became better friends and building better relationship. But i think at the end kishimoto saw most didn't like sakura and doecided against narusaku. I mean come on, the last movie was so bad and apparently the basis of naruhina. How can naruto fall for sakura because of a rivalry? We all clearly saw one of the reasons for the early rivalry was sakura. Naruto hated sakura loved him.
