This week it's time to add more Dumbledore stuff into our lives! I'm making the Golden owl podium from Prizoner of Azkaban into a necklace/magnet.

So as I'm talking about in the video, we're considering to sell a couple of these owls as a way to say thank you to everyone.
I get requests frequently about my creations and usually I'm not able to produce them for sale, but we're trying to make an exception with this one!
Would love to hear peoples opinion about it, thanks in advance

Things you'll need:
Super glue
Pliers
Sculpting tools
Polymer clay (preferably black/brown)
Magnet
Necklace chain
Steel wire
Spray paint
Acrylic paint (If you don't have spray paint, or if you want to paint the crystal ball the owl is standing on, blue)
Brushes (optional)
You'll need a oven to bake the clay. Had it in the oven at 110°C for 30 min each time, but make sure to bake the clay according to instruction on the package.

Subscribed! If you made a cast of this to sell copies, I would so buy one! Also love your ideas for wands. I don't have access to a lathe, & the metal skewer is a great idea.

Another amazing creation! Thank you so much for the tutorial. I am excited to have a go at making one for myself! That said, if you do not sell these, you're crazy. If I hadn't just had to spend over $2000 that I don't have on our cat's vet bill, I would be first in line to buy one straight from the artist. You are so super talented!

I have to admit your videos are fantastic! Your videos form the first to the most recent, are amazing with high-quality editing! The DIY's are beautifully handcrafted and the editing is amazing as well (let Max know). I edit as well, and his style of doing so is an inspiration! Not to mention, your introduction to each video is outstanding. The effort you apply on your work is evident throughout, and your art is a true inspiration. As well, who made your intro and how? It looks so professional!

Thank you so much for your awesome compliments, they mean a great deal! I'll definitely let Max know :) I am very happy you like our intros, so far in our videos we've made everything ourselves, except the music :) It took a while to make the text intro, I drew everything, than we scanned it and Max animated it :) For the cinematic intros of the projects, we just find things we have at home and do the best we can.

I totally would if I could make things without getting too much pain in my hands, I have some difficulties with my fingers, so I need to keep the creating at a minimum, but I might get an Etsy for a couple of special things in the future :) And that is so sweet of you :)

Ridgeback Creations i always ruin my finger tips when making jewelry (i will literally lose the feeling in my fingertips and fingers) so i can relate... I hope you one day will be able to craft without getting so much pain!

Yeah, can understand that, jewelry making can be quite exhausting on the fingers, I usually try to use pliers as much as possible to prevent the main pressure from my fingers when bending the metal rings etc. I wish so too, but until then I just have to remember to give myself breaks and don't strain them too hard :)

Ridgeback Creations always give them rest when they need to! I had to stop for months because i pushed them way too far snd really lost the feeling of them for almost 3 months! Maybe if am ever in the UK (i think your from the UK) we could meet up and make something together!

is the baking paper like wax paper..?

It is just an average baking paper, no wax :) but anything that is oven safe is fine to use!

I go to a shop-line called Panduro (They're online as well) and I buy Fimo polymer clay by Staedtler. You can find Fimo and other similar brands in other shops and other online sites as well :)

I used a gold spray from a store called Biltema that exist in Scandinavia, translated it means Car-theme, so it is a store with a lot of car equipment. So I guess any hardware store or car equipment store should have a decent spraypaint selection :)

But if you want to make a golden egg that can be opened as in the movie, what would you put inside as that glittering white matter ? I have no idea what to fill

I have actually ordered some new materials to make a Golden Egg that is more similar to the one in the movie, so I will experiment a little with the process :) But I'll definitely try to come up with a couple of different methods depending on what materials people have on hand :)
