I read not to keep fry in breeder boxes cuz stunts them. I have mine in a .5 gal breeder box so was lil worried. But seems yours do just fine in a breeder box, so I feel a lil better now 👍

my last surviving fry is a little more than 2 weeks old. i can’t wait for his/her color to come out! (parents in tank are red tux male, yellow cobra male, and 3 yellow sunset females)

I've got the exact same breader box but they are that small they do swim out through the gaps and into the main tank, ive seen this happen..your best off with a netted breeder box or a separate tank. I only use these plastic boxes for birthing, once birthed I remove mum and put them all in a nursery tank..

At 8 weeks old they’re big enough to be out of the breeders box even before 8 weeks around 5-6 weeks. You can tell their stressed as the space is too small for them.

Any Advice. My fancy fry are over 3 weeks old but they are still the same size as your fry at the 1 week mark. They are separated and alone in a 30 gallon tank. Been feeding only dry fry food but they all seem to have a good appetite. Why aren't they growing?!

I have 4 aquariums now even though I just began having guppies a few months ago. I found out they love to have baby's! Being someone who can't harm anything I've carefully tended my fry. I have my tanks labeled, nursery, pre-school, community, and isolation. I'm getting another tank this week since they're on sale! haha I told you all that to ask this question. I have discovered 2 fry with these fins, so as I understand it, the females can get and stay pregnant, I assume by different males. Can I expect these will carry on the trait? I'm going to be taking some of the fry to a local pet store. Thanks!

Some of your 8 weeks old female are pregnant look at her belly there is a black dot.

Also grow the male and female fry in seperate tank. If you don't the males will make the females pregnant at a young age.
