jay hi. thanks for the video but one thing remains unexplained. how do all those pusher axles function when truck is fully loaded doing turn or cornering whatever? i can't find a video on the whole yt, either the pusher axles are up or if they are down they just go straight but not turn or cornering. i understand very well that the extra axles are there to increase payload and meet the rules, but i'm just not clear how they can work in practice - turn or cornering with all axles down?

Works good. All dropped axle turns. You have a problem if you try to back up with those 3 pushers down.

The drop axles are steerable axles, meaning when the steer axle turns, the force of the truck turning causes the drop axles to follow suit.

That will be nice. Currently, I'm driving an 11 cubic yards Kenworth mixer with 3 pusher axles and 1 tag axle and is doing good even in downtown Phoenix,Az

Where I live in the Pacific Northwest Oregon and Washington. We call a dump truck with one drop axle a 4 axle we count the steering tires . Two drop axles a fix axle , three drop axles a six axle

In Connecticut with tri axle permitted you can haul 24tons

What if your truck gvwr is 64,300 can you still haul 24 in ct?

IDK WHY hes talking tons. Traixles can carry 25-27tn depending on the trucks light weight as long as its under 40tn total. Except PA Their gross is 73,200lbs gross for a traixle. Bro got all these extra axles for nothing 😂

This guy talks like a late night TV salesman impersonating a children's entertainer... getting through any of his talking points in this video you have listen to him say EVERYTHING 8 times before he moves on to the next point... Waiting him out while he counted the axles out over and over and over was painful... He needs a Blippy costume. 4:59 He should have laughed like the Count from Sesame Street when he counted up the axles, 1.... 2..... 3..... 4..... 5...... 6! 6 wonderful axles! AH AHAHAH!

Well Honestly, for a Total Beginner this video is helpful. I mean it’s Elementary for sure, but Not everyone grew-up around Trucks, Equipment, or even a Father Figure to explain these Rudimentary Things. Pretty humble for this guy to break down the Simplistic Anatomy of a Dump Truck like this. Job Well Done in my opinion.

25 tons of material is the avg amount of a triaxle and the gross is 40. IDK why he's carrying extra weight of them axles when triaxles run 25-27tn depending on the lightweight.
