As a conservative I have had few issues with Trump. Attacking DeSantis and Glenn Youngkin we're pretty awful. The other bizarre decision was selling cheesy cartoon images of himself. The picture in my profile is Peter Griffin going to his class reunion as an astronaut, cowboy, rapper. I pasted Trump's picture over the cartoon face and posted it on conservative social media. Nobody gave me grief about doing it.

Michael Bennet's a good man but he didn't fare well in 2020. As well as the necessary skills, a president does need a touch of charisma, or at least familiarity. Clinton and Obama had charisma in spades and Joe is everybody's granddad! This is where Hillary was unsuccessful, good as she would have been. I have watched FOX for years as they rewrite all the AP and UP wires about democrats to have unhappy endings, with so-called "facts" never reported on mainstream media. At least mainstream news sticks to the AP wire and UP wire. These other stations put their viewers in MotherGoose Land. No wonder Republicans are being gullibly brainwashed into being Commies. This reminds me so much of the noises mad in 2015, but then Trump became the nominee and former rivals kissed his...feet. Does anyone seriously believe this movie won't end the same way? Trump isn't nervous about being the loser. He's making threats to keep the base voting for him. On the Democratic side, the last incumbent not to run for reelection was Lyndon Johnson. The Democrats nominated Hubert Humphrey, who promptly went on to lose to Richard Nixon. How anyone who knows that history can advocate Biden not run for reelection is beyond me.

The problem is Dems are nervous that Biden won’t garner the moderate Republican vote as in 2020 (because of his age) despite his amazing successes. Biden has already said he would see how things go which suggests he is concerned. If Biden backs a strong successor early, Dems have a chance to take on a popular Republican candidate who may not be Trump.

@@wanajday 1. If Trump is breathing, then as far as I am concerned, there is a 99.9% chance he will be the GOP nominee. Nothing is certain, but I heard on one of the MSNBC clips that polling has Trump 15 points ahead of his closest GOP rival. I don't care who is saying what or how things look now. I will be shocked if Trump doesn't walk to the nomination the way he did in 2016. 2. If the incumbent -- Biden -- is not the nominee, then the Democrats are guaranteed to LOSE, given the history I outlined in my comments. Anyone who thinks a Democratic nominee other than Biden has a prayer of beating Trump is kidding themselves.

@wanajday “Mainstream” D.C. Democrats are nervous I guess. I wouldn’t be if Biden ran again especially if Trump is the nominee. I’m not sure any of the potential Republican candidates for president can be considered popular outside of a very limited group. Trump is the only one who has any charisma and that’s fading away from an average voter perspective. Democrats position is the same no matter what, they need to get out their voters and stop trying to be “bipartisan” (who votes for a party because of that?). The only reason Democrats don’t have the House (and it’s the reasons HRC lost) is because they failed to get their voters out.

Anyone can announce the intention to run for Office, but the RNC and the DNC can only nominate ONE candidate from each of the two parties. So,it remains to be seen if TFG will get the nod.... hopefully NOT.

However, they nominate differently. The Democrats prefer to allocate delegates by percentage of votes won in each state's primary, whereas with Republicans the winner takes all. So, donnie could get a low percentage of delegates, but if he still scrapes through with more than anybody else then he becomes the nominee.

Just look at how the fringe right are threatening to destroy the economy unless Biden let's them destroy Social Security. And I can see why many Democrats would rather President Biden doesn't run for reelection, he's not wearing his age well. In the real world of facts it's a given that President Biden has accomplished many things to be proud of. If you think responding to this with Fox or Q'anon propaganda lies is appropriate, then no thanks. I don't debate with people who live in Fox Fantasyland. They're simply not able to see when they've been proven wrong.

Joe Biden was sold as a moderate Democrat. He was anything but that. The fox news and Qanon diversions are for you to feel better about avoiding reality. It's just noise to us. Either you are factually correct or wrong. Insults can't be fact checked. It's how lazy people pretend to be politically engaged. 👍

Polling hasn’t asked all of the voters. I’ve asked everyone that I know and no one has been polled about Biden, including me. What we’re doing when the phone rings is trying to avoid calls from numbers we don’t know or are SPAM. So, there’s no way that an accurate Poll could be taken.
