Happy Thursday PEEPS! Here is our latest video and WOW, this was an amazing HAUL!! I still cannot believe what all DG threw out and considered to be "TRASH"?!?!?! All of that arts and crafts type stuff will go to help so many kiddos :) So we are super excited about that! Plus all the other items we found are awesome TO DONATE as well!

Save the candle jars.! I found the exact blue twirling pencil holder it has a wooden gold finial that's supposed to be on top of it. The one I found the finial was loose so I'm guessing many of them were tossed out. Good to see Beth up and running again can't imagine dealing with chronic insomnia just a nightmare.

What a great haul! Food is ALWAYS the most important thing to find, but I know how much kids, especially ones who are not in their own homes due to circumstances beyond their control, and those who just don't have many things, LOVE this kind of stuff! I bet a few items would work well in the foster care bags too. All children deserve a little bit of sunshine in their life. Shannon, you, Beth, and Tara are our bit of sunshine! Keep on diving'!

What a wonderful wonderful haul for little ones to adult crafters !! As a crafter myself, creating in anyway is a therapeutic session. It can magically take your troubles away just like a good book. A mini vacation from current issues and you never have to leave the farm, so to speak. Not to mention it’s a hidden learning experience for little ones. It can also give them a way to speak volumes they may not have been able to put into words. What a great donation ! I absolutely love watching you and Beth in action !!! You’re a great team ...thru rain, sleet, snow... 😂 and spiders 🕷 ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❤️❤️

What a great way to start my day with watching your video! That was an amazing haul of art supplies that I know all will enjoy. Thank you for donating to the school children. I work in the urban core of KC, MO and have a large population of immigrant children. Donations like yours help give these kids clothes when they’ve first arrived to our country. Hi Shannon, if the nearly used up candle jars are not broken fill them up with boiling water. The wax melts and floats to the top, wait for it to set and run a knife round the edge. The wax will come out and you can chop it up for melts. You can also reuse the jars for something else. Best of luck to you both and happy dumpster diving. Xxx

Great score ladies. With the candle's I take the wax out of a used up candle jar and put a broken glass candle in the empty one. Love you ladies 😘

Those magazines are a huge paper waste. I take them to the library, Savers, Goodwill. Most places are thrilled to take them. I know they're not food but people aren't able to get those things, and it's a treat sometimes.

Awesome haul ladies, I know that you probably have already thought about it, but did you know that you can put those candles in a double boiler and melt them and take out the whicks ? And make smallish candles again, in smaller containers of course. But like I said before you probably already have thought about it and Just don't want to. Love you ladies.

As I understand it, if you want to support Shannon & Beth, they have this KZfaq channel and by watching them you contribute a very small amount that adds up. If you watch the ads. Here's how to do it. Leave your volume just above mute. Leave you phone on her video all night and things will add up for her. Doesn't cost you anything. Be sure you leave your charger plugged into your phone so you can use your phone in the morning. This will help the girls with rising gas prices. Leave you phone running on one of her videos, turned down to just above mute and the girls will benefit richly. Bless her this way if no other way.
