Aww thank u for the kind words! I truly love what I do. I know what it’s like to not have alot. I grew up that way, & my husband & I struggled the first few years of our marriage, barely making it by, until he got the job he’s at now... but I remember crying saying we need baby formula & diapers for our twins, when they were babies, & saying idk how we are going to do this we don’t have enough for both. I was truly so scared & hopeless bc we were not eligible for ANY GOVERNMENT HELP! Nothing!!!! Because between the two of our incomes we made $2 too much!!!! Two dollars?!?!?! That’s insane!!!! I was so upset & I had no idea where to turn. So now that I’m able to help so many people in that exact situation & even those that are able to get government help, but still cannot make it by, it truly makes me feel like I’ve found my calling! I know exactly how some of those people feel & to now be able to help people by donating, & even help by sharing that dumpster diving isn’t bad & the items r perfectly good, it means so very much to me! ☺️💜

I love how you call yourself an old lady diver, because I may stay at home. Mom, my youngest of 5 is 15 and I have bad Arthritis from doing here for over 20 years and I really need to get out and move to make it feel better and I in the last year I've found dumpster dive and it gets me out, it gets me exercised and I don't even realize. I'm moving and having so much fun.

Shannon, I did the same thing when sleeping. It’s taken 2 months so far. A lot of 650mg Tylenol, heat rub and exercising. Good luck my dear. Great haul too

Shannon, I just wanted to share with you a little secret about pillows since you mention you slept wrong. I have neck issues from an old injury and I have spent good money on pillows in the past 35 years. My last one that I got was a pillow from the purple mattress store. OMG, it is awesome. I got the small travel pillow to try it out. It cost $174. but it is worth every cent. It also has a cool effect that I love because I tend to get hot sometimes and I love a cool pillow. Just wanted to share.

Last Minute Dessert: Hey, I found this and thought it would be a good thing if you’re pressed for time or a last minute…”could you bring a dessert”. 1 can of cinnamon rolls cut into quarters, 1 can of pie filling (peach, cherry or apple) on top of cinnamon roll pieces in greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Once done, drizzle cinnamon roll icing on top. Serve warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Enjoy!

Hi Shannon, the other ladies name is salty Stella and she usually goes into dumpsters that are from Goodwill and stuff like that and it’s awful. If that’s what she’s doing she does a lot of good work for a lot of people also.
