Happy FRI-YAY to all my PEEPS!!! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Here is our latest dive and wow did we score some awesome stuff from those dumpsters!!
I still cannot believe that they threw away those hand sanitizers!!! That really burnt my biscuits! I just will never understand the logic behind that one!

We grew up dirt poor. 9 kids. My mom worked part time and my dad seasonal. We would have loved to have had one of those Easter baskets. Believe me you are doing good for these kids. They will never forget.

Girl my CVS throws out cases of stuff. I’ve found a case of soap, a case of hand sanitizer, case of cleaner with bleach, 3 cases of Bleach, 3 cases of hand sanitizing wipes, 8 cases of gloves, and cases of paper towels. It’s insane how much they waste! Love how much you can donate!

Thats me when i get up on the dumpster so one day my grown son was with me and the next day he went and got me at step stool ladder . I was new at this so i was happy cause I'm only 5 '2'

I absolutely love you saving so much from the dumpster and to help others. There's almost nothing more rewarding than helping others. That manager would have ticked me off. Seriously.....it's "garbage". They don't want it so it's up for grabs for others!

It's so sad that in 2021 children are still going without, if it wasn't for kind hearted people like you Shannon they would still go without. These big stores should be ashamed when so many people have nothing. How hard is it for them to donate.

If they donate the items they cannot then take it as a "loss", the donated amount must be cataloged, price itemized and then a donation receipt must be issued by the charitable organization that accepted the donation. For a large chain of stores, if you think about it, it is easier for them to "donate" through their loss programs. Most retail corporations have a merch loss cost figured into the budget. So, dumpster donations are cheaper and easier for them. At least they don't destroy stuff like a lot of places do.

Your amazing at what you do and I'm not just talking about the dumpster diving although that is pretty spectacular in its self but I'm saying your heart is so BIG and WONDERFUL how you help so many ppl in your community. We use to have to do this to survive but now things are different and we're better off. With that being said I'm very inspired to follow in your foot steps. I'm a little older and health is not as good but I have a wonderful family and they support me 100% in everything. Thank you so much for being a wonderful person that you are. You are the kindest person for donating to so many people in need. The manager hasn't ever had to do without so that's the reason she thinks it's so disgusting. Keep doing what you do best.

Pennsylvania weather is really strange. It is 54 degrees in Coatesville at 11:30 this morning. (Apr. 23, 2021) Also, no snow coming here at all. LOL!!! You and Beth are such special people!!!! We are blessed to know you and to get to see what you do. BTW...your twins are adorable!!!

That means a lot Shannon sweetie when I was a kid. Me and my siblings did not celebrate Easter or Christmas or anything like that because we were poor and had nothing we were lucky if we had food in the house and that means a lot to children when they’re little I remember one time this man came and got me and my brothers sisters and took all of us to a Christmas party that still sticks in my head until this day and I am in my 60s you will put a smile on all those childrens facesGod bless you and Beth That will touch their heart they will never forget that God bless you too girls

Here in Utah, it will snow in the morning and by the afternoon, we are turning on the A/C so I understand you about having crazy weather!! One of these days I am going to buy you a ladder. I don’t know how you can jump in and out of those dumpsters; I get stuck!! Missing your Aldi’s hauls. Are you not checking them anymore? Glad you are able to get a lot of food that you can donate. It really is a shame just how much is getting thrown away! My kids’ school did exchange Valentine’s this year. All the kids had to bring in their Valentine’s two weeks ahead to “quarantine” and they made mailboxes in their classes. Too bad yours didn’t do something like that. Love love your videos!!
