Those milk crates make fantastic bookshelves for basement, garage, and I made a desk with some and an old door...HUGE DESK!

Another donation option is or are art teachers at schools. They would love the ribbon! I have also donated small containers, plates, bags or pretty much anything. My daughter works at a Hispanic community school in Milwaukee and I send a lot of stuff to school with her. Some items such as date books, planners, hand sanitizer she puts in the teachers lounge for all the teachers to use.

Great haul. I know you can't keep everything but those Christmas stockings would of been great to save and fill them up for the kids at Christmas time. A few years ago I got a bunch of stockings and we filled them up with toiletries,makeup and a few treats and gave them to the women at the VA hospital

I feel ya! I got locked out of my main dumpster that was always loaded. I feel blessing boxes. One is a housing authority. They haven’t had to ask for donations since I started filling the boxes. I had to move to different places! I found a new place last night and I scored the biggest food haul.

The only holiday wrap item I need has been ribbon 🎀. For some time now I use holiday fabric to wrap household gifts & tie closed with ribbon. It saves me buying wrapping paper, which gets tossed & goes to the landfill. I fold it up & bag it for next year. Even the back of some old plaid flannel shirts are good for the job, if they are holiday colors.

Omg!!! Not sure how I found you, but I am glad I did!! I love what you and Beth are doing. I am a retail manager for a store that does "PENNY OUT" items. I ALWAYS pack it nicely and leave it either on top or next to my dumpster. Unfortunately, we have NO divers in my area. We do have a Church that helps tons of families in our area so I always give em the heads up when I put stuff out there. Ya know it really sickens me that I have to throw away SO much perfectly good stuff (and I could actually be fired for trying to rehome it) I find myself taking the stuff out now and thinking..Man, I wish Shannon was here to save this stuff!!

Went today found so many small Santa's, elves and Snowman at Dollar Tree. Then at a DG found paper plates and prickles. And a tub with lid. It's the manager, she will be transfered soon, they always do.

Your you tube videos are the best ones out of all the dumpster diving videos! I just started watching about a month ago and yours by far are the best!!!!! For one you tell what dumpster your at which is super helpful and you explain everything you find because sometimes it’s hard to see. And you keep talking about what your doing and why which is so nice. Some other peoples you tubes are silent. Also I was just wondering how far you go to the dumpsters? I just started to go looking for stuff but just around my neighborhood stores. Not sure how far I should go out for it to be worth it. Love your videos! Very inspiring! I live 2 mile from our little town, it’s just a little wet spot in the road. But I enjoyed my diving dream ! I was young again. We have had storm Eunice hit the UK today 120mph winds. Lots of damage flooding and loads of closures, schools, bridges, transport etc. Affecting my WIFI lots of buffering but i'm sticking with you ladies the best i can
