I feel like these stores should donate the brushes and new makeup to women's shelters. It is such a waste throwing them in a dumpster/destroying them

I think the are trying to keep the Business if they send returned stuff to shelters even if there not open or have been touched it would ruin their image it would be all over the internet people would think there a horrible company and stop shopping there that’s probably why they don’t but I agree with you if they are not open then give the to someone who needs/wants them

They would but if ulta and places like that did do it 1. It would be very much un sanitary 2. A law suit if someone got like pink eye and 3. It would be bad for business if someone got a disease or sickness from it. So they definitely would if they could but they unfortunately can’t ☹️

Its sad they couldn’t donate the brand new brushes to a homeless shelter to throw them away seems wasteful.

I went to one of my ultas today and outside the dumpster was a HUGE soupy mess. Someone had gone through it on the ground and left it there. It made me so mad. 🤬

Same here! It's been just over a year since I first dove my local Ulta. In the beginning the back end of the shopping center was pristine! Sometime during summer break I noticed people were just dumping soup boxes and leaving everything on the ground! Initially I cleaned up what I could. Sometimes spending hours, hoping the guilty party (ies) would get the hint, but no... it only got worse. I am so ashamed to be 'grouped' with people that are so nasty! Thanks for letting me vent...

Use Gorilla glue to glue the bush together. Works like a charm. I found one of those stone face rollers and it was cracked in half and I used the gorilla glue and it glued it together very strong.

How often to you go and do you ever get in trouble for dumpster diving. I use to go to colleges when they leave for summer break and I would get tons of things ipods new furniture and if my kids didn't need it I would turn around and find someone who did. But I've been wanting to hit ulta for awhile

My Ulta’s Dumpster is hard to find! Has anyone gone diving early? Like 5-6am? Or would you recommend daytime / night? I’ve only gone around 11pm. Which is kinda sketchy at that point with the security officers driving around. 🙁

Ulta says that they are trying to prevent people from "stealing" from them but if it's in the trash...hows is it stealing??? And if they worry about somebody returning it they can put a big black permanent marker X barcode...just let people have it Ulta. Such a waste

Why in the hell do these stores not donate this stuff to teen shelters, women's shelters and beauty schools? What an absolute waste of products. I totally understand throwing away used samples and expired makeup, but this is just 1 video. How many thousands of stores have dumpsters full of good products lying in them. This really opened my eyes to how wasteful and irresponsible companies are.
