Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Those five black boxes are computers, used in offices which are connected to a remote data base, and so on. My Dr's office converted over to them a couple years ago. I was amazed at how small they are! They may have hard drives, of the laptop size. Pretty nice!

They are terminals that you Attack to the As400 and you can see green letters on a black screen .I repair them at work the make in Italy are Compumaster model XT7 they have a Power adatter 12v

People born in northern Ireland are actually both british and Irish they can carry an irish passport or uk passport or both. So no not necessarily british if that's not how he identifies I mean it's not like we are speaking quantum physics or anything it's pretty straightforward it's always funny to see people who know jack about my country speak about it.

9:44 hehe) that metal door is from an alarm system box. Has all the "zones" written on it , like 4. lobby motion, 3. hallway motion and so on. When a system like this is swapped out, most of the time, zone numbers stay the same even if controlling unit is different. Having this, and gaining access to the new box, you could disable only parts you want. And you wouldn't believe where people can lead you to if you have a clipboard and a couple screwdrivers sticking out of your pocket, little to no questions asked.

I use the DJI Osmo Action. It their version of a Go Pro. I’m a Metal Detector on KZfaq and it cuts the wind down to nothing. Been out in 40 plus winds with it. It’s a lot easier to use plus you have a screen on both sides you can flip around. Took a break from the beach and started dumpster diving since the first of February. I’m over $3000. After watching your videos it made my hunting a lot easier. Haven’t made any videos yet but I will soon.

The shrouds on those CRT monitors are often made out of stainless too, it's pretty light but when you get a few of them it really adds up.

Love the channel Mike , always entertaining and interesting, watch every upload. Just a tip, I am Irish born and bred and I live here. There is no such day as Patty's day, it's either St Patrick's day or Paddy's day. Patty is short for Patricia where as Paddy is short for Patrick. Just so as you don't drive your Irish viewers nuts. Glad the luck of the Irish was with you! I’m only 4% Irish according to ancestry but I’ll take it and celebrate! The phone dumpster I was like take the body book it’s an usborne book those books are expensive! It’s also a good book my daughter loved it!

I agree that Mike's camera still does a great job! 👌 If the sound goes down, I know how to increase the sound; and when it goes back up again, I know how to fix that too! There's really no need to upgrade, unless it will make it easier for Mike! 🤗

Good stuff. Those old monitors sure do have a good amount of copper, definitely worth grabbing. I even grab CR Tvs for copper. I would love some micro scrapping.

Mike , I've been watching you shows and I enjoy every one but here's a tip for you if you come across a dumpster that has lots of things for you take your time and take get all of the treasures that's in that dumpster cause you never know if the other dumpster has anything for you don't just take half and leave , you went a long way make the best of each dumpster this is coming from a friend in Missouri , take care & be safe out there .

Remember to short out the flyback transformer before you yank the copper yoke out of that CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) monitor...if it hasn't been on in awhile it is probably ok...but you never know.

I get gassed that you find so much wire lol. We go out scavenging most nights and are lucky to get anything lol. We do get some snipp'its from time to time though, we've been lucky and had a few kilos on a couple of occasions. Our urban mining expeditions are for melting, but I don't think we'd be diving for our stuff if it wasn't for you! Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures Mike!

Brother some of those old phones have great telecom boards in them the older the better. Look them up on Boardsort and u will be amazed what they really are worth! Love the videos !! Scrap on!
