Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. So the thing about fiber is that it is typically used with distances greater then 100 meters since that is the limit for CAT5 and CAT6. The remnants that are less then that usually get tossed. It would be cost prohibitive to splice short lengths together for a run. Thanks for the videos!

My husband is a dentist. The box on top of the fridge and security system box -to the left is an almalgamator used to mix up mercury and metal to use for silver fillings!

@@bluemountaindrivepae Over a period of years, I had my dentist replace all of my amalgam fillings with gold. My understanding is that request is quite unusual, my dentist said most people want composite fillings nowadays as they are affordable, match tooth color and look nice. I didn't care, as gold is the BEST material for long term dental results- it's completely non-reactive and "nice to its neighbors" by not damaging natural enamel on surrounding teeth like porcelain and ceramic does. Also, my dentist used inlays and onlays of gold, no fillings. Plus side is your chewing surfaces then are more durable, downside is cost obviously, inlays and onlays are closer to the cost of crowns than fillings.... I have 3 crowns including a front bicuspid that I insisted be gold against my dentists' recommendation. She was reluctant because it is close to the front and visible when I smile. I replied "That's why I want it!" LOL

3:28 That is a vacuum former, used in the dental lab to make vacuum-formed baseplates, custom trays, and mouthguards.

The white carts are dental carts used by dental/ oral surgeons or dentists, i would say they been decommissioned due to upgrade or closing down a clinic, good find 👍

I've had 2 of the hoses if you have good water pressure they blow up. But the rubber inside makes great pliers handles and screwdriver blade cover.

The cart on wheels is to hold canvases in the back and sketches or drawings on paper in the front side of it!

Its a vac forming machine. should be a heating element up top. you put a piece of plastic material in the frame and raise it up. it softens under the heat. you put your "object" o the bottom and air is sucked out. SLAM (gently) the hot plastic down and SLURP air sucks out and it "forms" to your "mold" and bammo. you have a nice light weight vac form copy. rinse and repeat. neat widgets!

14:14 is a blue piece that looks like it is the top or a shelf for you called it a trolley i would call it a cart. but what ever it is , I think that blue piece goes with it.

The paint on all those hoses and other items were probably written off. Product wouldn't sell and wasn't worth shipping back to the distributor. The reason for the paint and/or permanently damaging the product is so that someone cant fish it out of the dumpster then try to return it. When I did dumpster savaging for a few years I noticed dollar general was notorious for throwing out product, almost every day. Anything that was worth more then $5 they would damage before throwing out.

I work for a lot of dr offices as a audit contractor. A lot of drs search for products on ebay, especially when they are first starting up a business to save money.

25:07 has a heat element & vacuum set up, it heats up the plastic for teeth whitening trays and mouth guards and it sucks down on a dental model to fit over the shape of teeth. Vacu-former. It’s at least got a motor in it if it’s broken.

Nice dental scrap find! Lots of little brass fittings and such on those. Who knows if they work still, maybe eBay for parts/not working or just scrap it. Careful of the gross vacuum hoses, all the nasty in the world goes through those!🤢 trust me, I deal with it daily!

The heater thing that you didn't know about looks like a vacuum former. You heat up a sheet of plastic and pull it down over an object to make a mold of it. The vacuum sucks it tight to the object.
