Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. That's sad that you didnt realize how much hard work it actually is by having a scrapper dad. It took for you to watch strangers on youtube to realize it : (......you only get 1 set of parents hopefully they are awesome parents that teach you lots :)

Grandma said you may receive a blessing that you may not particularly like. I apply it to scrapping. There are certain things I scrap that I’m not particularly fond of but take it because tomorrow may bring nothing. A dry day. That scrap that annoyed me kept me afloat.

Mike those roaches looked more like just home rolled tobacco. Too big for the green stuff. And hypodermic needles are not always a sign of drug users. They could have been a diabetic, we use those same needles for our insulin shots. And loved that aluminum find, you should take your Mom out for dinner for the heads up. Keep up the great videos.

I use old wrapping paper crumbled up in boxes when I ship boxes. Saves buying packing materials.

I don't know if you've ever said, how and why did you get into scrapping? I'm in my 60s and have physical limitations but I find myself looking at trash totes as I go down the road (when hubby's driving)
