Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Mike, you really need to invest in a handheld magnet. The one you can pull the lever and the metal falls off. That way you can get all the knockouts and smaller metal. I have one and I love it!

My mom worked for Leviton for 53 yrs. They have plants around the world and make alot of electrical things but got their start with light fixtures. Leviton started business with Edison around the creation of the light bulb. And part of Long Island, NY is named after Harold Leviton. Levitown, NY

So sorry about winston. We had to put down our ginger because of cancer. We had her 12 years got her from the shelter when she she was 2 months, sharpei-chow mix, 2 years ago. Still tear up thinking about her. She loved peanutbutter filled cookies.

Your door knobs or a thin layer over pot metal with the steel stem going through the center use a cut-off saw cut them in half cleaned almost like easy I use a four and a half inch cut off blade works good on cutting a whole bunch of stuff like Christmas wires and things all you have to do is hit it with the if you had time to separate your metals for a long period of time you would have a paycheck

I have tried to watch other channels like this one. And Mike is the only one that if he finds something that has a cord he will take it home and see if it works before cutting the cord off 👍those buckets in the swimming pool dumpster their top lock down people that travel on planes use them for tools

hi mike why dont you get yourself a machinist swarf magnet it would be great for getting all those small steel bits out of the skips , once it has picked up all the bits you pull on the knob and it releases it all, probably pay for itself in no time as you leave loads behind as its to much hassle to pick them all out, one of these would do it real fast.

Lol Leviton makes lighting and lighting automation products. You may have an nLight Wall controller. It's worth looking up before you scrap it.

Mike, you are adding more work for yourself when you don't back Dottie up. You pick it out of the dumpster, put it on the ground then hop out of the dumpster and bend and pick the stuff up again and put it all in the truck.

Mike my friend, you have the best luck when it comes to finding new products still on its original boxes. So what if it’s not little older, I sure it still works very well. I prefer the older things for quality, all the bugs have been worked out. Great video, keep on scavenging . Your definitely a top notch scavenger.
