Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Pete…thank you for making that recording!! I’ve enjoyed the Scavenger Theme for about a year now and had always thought it was something Mike came up with. I would like to give credit where credit is due so once again…Thank you for your creativity and sending it to Mike so that we all can enjoy it at the end of the videos, I know I personally can’t stop the video until at least Mike says “big fan of suitcases”. 😎🎵🎶

Food mixer just needs sterilised, Bowl & attachments are designed to be cleaned so.. CLEAN 'EM !!! That wee rap song was brilliant you should use it Mike (with Pete's permission of coarse )

Even if it needs to be repaired or serviced, that KitchenAid mixer can be brought back to life and sold for some good money. Clean it with Barkeeper's Friend. It will look great and be appreciated by someone!

I thought the same thing when he was asking about it. The KitchenAid is like the Cadillac of kitchen utensils and is something that you take and get repaired you don't replace.

Laughing, having a good time watching your video!! Y'all git up in there, y'all!! You need to use that as your intro!! Oh you put it at the end!!! Woot Woot!! Love it!! Agree with other folks about cleaning up the mixer. Worth it! The tripod things are easels for poster paper. We use ours in our conference room to write stuff on during meetings. Clean it and resell it. KitchenAid mixers are expensive. Will be an easy $100 after you clean it up and sanitize it! Great finds once again!

Those kitchen Aids last a lifetime, just replace the brushes and it will be fine, steam clean it with degreaser and a magic eraser.

That KitchenAid Mixer is something that holds it's value pretty good. New the run 300+. The attachments can be bought online farely cheap. Good resale item.

That kitchenaid is the cheaper model, $163 for a refurb one from Fry's. If the lock is working correctly, then clean it up and sell it. The lock can fail if you really work the mixer hard. It has a stainless bowl and whisk attachment and those will clean up like new.

I dumpster dive. for slightly different reasons. I gather clean boxes and packing material for reusing for shipping on ebay , ect. In over 18 years selling on ebay, I have almost never bought boxes or packing stuffing(bubble wrap). I have found many a gem while gathering boxes. over the many years ive been doing it, I have probably earned tens of thousands on sellable items ive found thrown away. also I am not the only one doing it as I see others and regulars....decent hustle if you can stand it.

Nice finds, Use the mixer as a cement mixer or paint mixer. Great for someone who would do arts and crafts.. Hopefully you find a mini fridge that works to keep that stash of energy drinks cold :)

The KitchenAid $160 new. Those things hold their value. Parts alone start at $60. I'd run the parts through the dishwasher & if you can dismantle the housing run it through the dishwasher. Sand the rust spots, paint it and sell it. Or wash the attachments and part them out. The song is kool.

19:13 they call that "cat track" for holding hoses and wires at pivot and slide movements on heavy equipment and other industrial applications...its expensive they sell it by the link

The plastic chain is a cable guide for industral machinery.Such as CNC statons.Looks the same as our SCM Tech Z5 wood cnc center.The kitchen aid is used to mix and do pastas and other dense food materials.

That mixer can sell for more than 300 bucks. Defenatly worth a good scrub and can be sold anyday for more than 50 bucks I'm pretty sure. I know it was my wife's Xmass gift!

19:12 This is a flexible plastic raceway for electrical wires. You run wires through it for a machine that moves and needs a way to have its controller wires follow. If you see a waterjet machine or a laser cutter (just a couple of examples) you will see how these things work. It bundles wires together and protects them.

Go pete. You can wash the attachments in the dish washer add a couple lemon cut in half should take care of the rust on them. The mixer itself can easily be cleaned.
