Pageants are much more horrible than dumpster diving in my opinion.

I think is ok do be a dumpster diver cos some people, including myself will throw something that is still usable but we just don't need it anymore. All they need is to be more creative into turning these woods, etc into something else nice. Maybe they did but the program didn't show. As for myself, if I found something that I don't need it anymore or doesn't fit me I will ask my sisters or friends whether they want it, if they don't I will put on Facebook to see whether someone wants it, sometimes is free sometimes need to pay minimal.

Isn't it illegal to go through someone's trash can in the US? I'm sure it is in the UK, even to go through someone's skip (big metal container you hire and use to clear large quantities of trash) outside their home because it is still their property until it is removed by the council or trash collectors.
