Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Hi Mike. The medical stuff you found were bags of solution for dialysis. The plastic connectors connect the bags to the machine and also connects to the patient. 👍🙂

The mere idea that someone would actually throw away not just one, but several pianos, is almost impossible for me to wrap my head around. Pianos are up there with harps and violins for being special instruments. It broke my heart to see them tossed in a dumpster like garbage. How terribly tragic. Thank you for rescuing the sewing machine. Hope it went to a good home.

16:10 the box looked like a housing for a “flux capacitor,” may need one for the rocket. If the DeWalt boxes draw folks in at your garage sale that’s good. Giving them a free case as a bonus is value added when they do buy something from you. 30:00 looks like it’s time for those Redwings...

Peritoneal dialysis solution and connectors. Instead of doing dialysis by running blood through a machine, you infuse the dialysate into the abdominal cavity, let it dwell for awhile and then drain it out. The impurities drain out too.

The keys on old pianos are made out of ivory. If you find any that are old enough, the ivory is probably worth quite a bit.

No one at a music store is leaving ivory keys on a piano they are tossing out. As a matter of fact as they get them in the shop they take them off immediately as they are just to rare and you can buy the bone ones as replacements

I haven't had a good solid laugh from your videos in quite a while. When I first started watching you, you were a riot. Kept me in stitches. Now, you're more business like. I guess that's okay. Still watch you though. I'm a seventy-eight year old, and I'm not used to being a clutz. It's very frustrating. Always dropping things, knocking stuff over. So, when I see a young man, like yourself have a clutz episode, it kind of makes me smile. Love your videos. I watch these videos every night. Helps me relax so I can go to sleep easier. But, I only watch your's as far as scrapping videos. Sorry for rambling so. May God bless you and keep you safe out there in the asphalt jungle.

I sometimes get so annoyed when you are riding around on you bike because you have to handle everything twice plus sometimes you get tunnel vision and just grab the scrap and leave saleable items behind when you could make more at the garage sales sorry brother I just had to get that out it is fun watching you I'm in a nursing home at a young age due to health and you keep me entertained thanks for that

10:21 mid-1960s Singer in its original stand. I learned on one just like it with an identical sewing table. Still have the table with an even older machine in it! Works too! Those old Singers are TOUGH. That Baldwin in the dumpster was crazy money new. Now... it's recycling. That "art" is always signed by John Q NoName artist for use in an office. Some are pretty and some you have to wonder.

Yes, RedWing makes work boots that are rubber and paint will wash off of and the soles are "nail proof." I think Mike needs to improve his footwear. I'm just back looking at his old videos, since he is so much fun. I'm amazed at how much knowledge he has and also how well he makes his videos.

Make ranger bands out of the inner tube , or you can make a kick ass solar oven out of a pair of large window panes with the inner tube inflated. Make a reflecting panel called a collector. You can cool a large pizza that way.

That washtub is a $30 bill in my area...use them for planters, so holes in the bottoms don't matter. The bike is a good "garden bike"...easy $25 - $35 just for garden decor here. The slatwall fixtures should get a decent buck, too. RIP for those poor pianos..there was an 1890s one in there, the carved one, too, they make great bars....oh, and RIP for those shoes...
