my heart broke as you left all those table clothes & cloth scraps.. behind... go back and get them if you can, smoke smell can be gotten rid of by a good washing.. and vintage stuff like that can be sold for $$$

You could have made a killing in the old linens! Such a shame for them to go to the landfill. So easy to wash and a little work would have gotten the stains out. Lots of ladies collect them and bright colors like those are getting harder to find these days. Lots of crochet things I would have grabbed as well. So sad that you left them.....

Oh my lord I was the same some awesome 60s in there to. I use a product called zoflora to get the funky smells out and vanish or dr beckmanns to remove stains

I kept saying to myself...take the linens. That crocheted dolly was worth $ too. She's going to regret not taking them when she hears what they're worth. That's one of the first things that sell at Estate Sales. And old magazines. When my mom died we found a lot of old cereal boxes. My sister's couldn't believe how fast they sold.

Tina Kirksey i know i just bought two the other day and yikes but i love them so i justified it! I refinish furniture too and the vintage bark cloth !! Oh man that’s like 75$ -100$ a yard ! And the other vintage fabric swatches!! Literally vintage fabrics can run close to 100$ a yard and boxed lots more.

I love finding dumpsters full of vintage items! I have a few pieces of art worth over 500$n from ther trash I even found 4 large polynesian tapa cloths in cvs trash. They are worth a lot

All those broken pieces, especially ones with color would be awesome for Steve to use in his concrete jobs. I made some stepping stones for my grandchildren and added some colored rocks. Somethings like old jewelry and whatever we found that the kids liked. We did leave enough room to put their names and the date.

Those vintage table clothes go for $25-40 on eBay. They are so cool. Give them a wash and sell them next time or just donate there are lots of people like me that find them neat and like to decorate with vintage linens ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I junk journal so I would take all those table clothes, any doilies, material etc. I’d wash it up and use it. I use to quilt too. Any books, paper, magazines, etc. That’s what I would be diving for. All that broken glass can be used for mosaic art. Sidewalks, stepping stones, etc. I’d take it all.

Pity you didn't take the vintage items steph, they would easily sell online and easy to get rid of the smell just keep a large plastic bag in the car to put them in so the smell doesn't transfer to the car. I loved the black R mug lovely pattern on it and my initial too. good luck on your next dive and find some fab things. Ps I'm up late again not able to sleep due to having lupus but you both always cheer me up watching what you get up to so thank you for that.
