We traveled to a new city today too and actually found a Bath and Body Works dumpster!! Didn't find anything but we will definitely go back. Lots of dumpsters not much stuff but the hunt is always exciting. Y'all found some awesome art that your grandbabies will enjoy doing when they are a bit older. So jealous of all your treasures but you work hard and have fun. Such inspiration for us all

Hello Steve & Steph!Around a week around, I finally decide to go check out my B&N. I was going back everyday because there was nothing but StarBucks trash.Well Sunday evening I looked in and seen one of those big wooden Thomas the Train tables that have all the tracks and buildings on it. Well I tried everything to pull it out but couldn't doing. I was so bummed out, especially since my Autistic grandson loves Thomas! I couldnt sleep thinking about it so in the morning after dropping off my grandson at school, I talked my husband talk my husband into going with me. I was prayung the whole way there that the trash didn't get picked up yet. As we got closer I noticed the trash truck at the end of the parking lot. Now I was praying that they started at the other end and not the end B&N was at. Well my prayers were answered, it was still there YaY.....My grandson was so excited to see it when he got home from school. I just found you guys about a week ago.. I finally took a shot at it and OMG!!! I have found so much awesome stuff... a brand new standing mixer for kitchen, fireplace space heater, 3 pictures, 3 plastic drawer storage bins, ALLL brand new in the box... a used electric blower that works , cologne, shoes for kids, brand new spiro drawing set,2 flash lights and soooooooo much more.... LOTS and LOTs of other great things. Needless to say my hubby is Not like yours and is not a happy camper. He hates that Im bringing 'shit" as he says into the house but I on the other hand am addicted already and the adrenaline rush is amazing!! Thank you for sharing your diving life with us!! Im so excited for this new hobby and what treasures await!! Much Love from Florida!!

Just wanted to share that I finally found a big item ! This was in the cardboard only bin, which was a good thing since the trash dumpster was empty. It was peeking out of some cardboard. I had a hard time getting to it as it was on the bottom. My long-handled grabber just couldn't lift it up. Since I was on my way to Wally World, I bought a 3 foot dowel and a bicycle hook for a total of $3. On my way back I stopped and got the pot with my handy new tool. If you don't already have one of these I would definitely suggest making one. Darn, can't load the photos

At factory shop called the crazy store, were selling canvas paint kits like that of all diffrent variety s .... Did not see a star wars ... Same canvas ...You both scored big on that and also nice to give the grandchildren ..And neices and nephews .... Something fun to do with kiddies ;)

For the gen x ers and newer viewers of star wars out there, you are younger and may have been keeping up on all the latest installments of the Star Wars Saga. Nothing wrong with that, someday I may feel the need to revisit my late teenhood and extend it to all of those installments you've fed yourselves on. Some of us have been busy with other endeavors and newer movies and life. When you get to be my age Obi One Kinobi might get crowded out though by something more important to your survival. You guy's are so lucky it's not even funny! My grabber broke day before yesterday. And I couldn't get the couple of the things I saw in my Aldi's dumpster. I wish I had someone to help me. I can't get up into the dumpster like this with spinal stenosis and a bum knee. A stool would have helped but then because I couldn't really reach the thing's my grabber snapped in to.😥 But none the less at least I tried.

I hate that all these stores are in the mind set that they would rather the perfectly fine new items go and rot in a landfill than someone possibly get them out of a dumpster. most who can do not buy all those jars. garage sales,estate sales and some purchase. My mom had that many jars and I don't remember her buying any new. My job was to wash the inside each spring through summer as my hands were much smaller than hers. People who knew Mom canned brought over all their garden excess.

I found like a 6 inch high stack of giftcards to barnes and noble the other day. I'm sure there won't be anything on them but it doesn't hurt to check. Ive check so many and havent even found one with even one cent on it. I have a Rubbermaid full of them. I'm hoping I get lucky one of these days

Steve or Steph, I just went over to Barnes and Noble and found the star war paint kits. My boxes were completely f what are intact and sealed but they said recalled on them.just wanted you guys to know since your boxes were all tore up
