*At **9:45**:* *That round ring with the holes and the two slots is a toilet flange repair .That style is used in case one or both of the slots where the bolts go for mounting the toilet to the floor break, you set that flange over the broken flange and screw it into the floor. The round holes in the repair ring line up with the original flange holes so the screws can go through both and into the floor.*

The stainless steel ring that you thought was for a swimming pool light is actually a replacement flange for your toilet!😁and the bullet you found is cut to be a bottle opener!

What great finds Mike. I just dont understand the mentality of people throwing away tools. My husband has tools belonging to both sides of the family that go back generations. company fires of employee, throws away anything in their space thats not company provided or company property and/or the employee assigned to do the clean out just doesn't care and throws everything away.

You think that hospital bed was old? I had to go to rehab after a long hospital stay and the bed they had for me had a crank to lift the ends of the bed! We're talking 1940s style!😮😮😮 Great job Mike,glad you took some of the random trinkets as well! Scrappity scrap! ❤❤❤

Don't joke about body bags. I was working near skid row in a big city we were having our morning coffee in the alley in our truck. A large black van pulled up in front of us and started pulling large black bags out of it. They cut open the bags and there were bodies inside. They cut off the clothes put the bodies on stretchers and took them into the building. We drove around the front It was part of the medical school Dept of mortuary sciences. What a way to start the day.

Almost every ex girlfriend I’ve had and my ex wife threw away any tools she could of gotten her hands on! Anything that would get me upset 🤷🏻♂️. My mom trashed a lot of my fathers tool years ago. I grabbed back out the trash thou! Hahaha

You should see what the USN threw out in a dumpster one day. I found snap-on tools and sockets tossed. They looked so helpless and took them home where they would be cared for. That was back in the early 1983.

Nice job. Where I go rich people put nice stuff out in front of the dumpsters. I post the stuff and make a killing selling it. Unfortunately I only have a car but have gotten a lot of furniture I could fit in my car and sold for good money. I’ve sold rugs sinks, lamps, tables etc. I’ve made a killing on what I can fit in the car. I even got a grandfather clock that works that I kept. All prophet. I once had 10 people fight over gulf clubs, whoever got to me first I sold them. I love collecting other peoples trash, it becomes my spending money. 😊

hay mike that convayer handle rubber is really good for fenders/ rubbing strakes on boats i can fetch up to $10 per meter

Hey Mike those brand new wire could be for wiring for the Atari hand controllers and can be resold to game stores or hobbiest that like to build. Why would someone throw out hand wrenches and others. The key you found is to open some electrical cabinets you found once before remember ?? All those noodles could been sent to the middle east or to countries that had earthquakes. The fighting have left so many with out basic necessities. Until you don't have much of food any little bit helps. Even the food pantries could use the food to help locally in the neighborhoods. I'm hoping someone will read my PSA and help.

Back in my first apartment my coffee table was a big spool [wider than taller] and my side tables were smaller spools. Couch was free from my uncle upgrading. Back when life was simpler [and cheaper]

Glad you saved some of the everyday trinket stuff😃 the elevator hand rail can be used around boat docks to keep sharp edges covered and used like a bumper to keep the boat from hitting the wood 👍
