Ppl! The topiary priced at 50 dollars is made in c hna. They manufacture them for a couple of dollars, they pay their workers about the same for the day. Then other ppl buy them for huge markups. It needs to stop, ppl need to actually think about what they are buying.

It's a shame retailers would rather write things off for taxes and trash them than to donate.

The big kid in me was excited for you finding more things for the Blessing Box and Little Pantry. With the police watching you at least you know you were safe. Because of breast cancer I started getting crafty and it's been 30+ years and still crafty. With dumpster diving too. I hit it lucky, lastvtime I was at CVS, found a new blood pressure monitor. I'll just use it, I run on so cold. So the dr told be to keep on my eyes on the blood pressure.

Still loving your videos, yet concerned for your safety at night. The white jar with the hole could be turned into a beautiful accent piece if you put some type of interesting sticks or something tall in it and then ran a string of white lights through the hole and wound up around the sticks.

Hi Cathie that white vase or ginger jar with the hole, glue a ribbon on it that covers the hole and put a bow on it, no one will ever know it had a hole. Nice finds. Take care my youtube friend.

I've had one interaction with police while diving, b/c I got lazy & parked my car in a really noticeable place. He spun a lot of gaff about me getting arrested for trespassing & theft, but ended up letting me go.

@Lisa Palmer Dumpster diving is technically legal in all 50 states. In 1988, there was a Supreme Court case (the State of California vs. Greenwood) that ruled searching trash is legal as long as it does not conflict with any city, county, or state ordinances. So, when a trash bag is on the curb to be picked up by a waste removal company or your trashcan is waiting at the end of your driveway, it becomes “public domain" and the Fourth Amendment no longer applies

My Michael's has a big roll off dumpster and there were 2 police officers sitting talking by it the other day. I just got out, got my ladder, and went up and looked to see if there was anything in it. Neither one said anything to me they usually don't. As always awesome haul.

Water soluble white pencil is for dressmaking you trace the pattern on the fabric and then when you wash it the lines go away

Hey there Cathie! You don't have to take it if you don't want to, I totally get that! But the stuffing in those pillows is excellent for dolls and stuffed animals and such. My mother-in-law says it saves her a lot of money when I bring her all those pillows. 😉 She crochets stuffed animals and sells them online.

Hi Cathie, I give you mad props for doing what you do with Fibromyalgia. I too suffer with this debilitating syndrome, I was diagnosed 31 years ago. I too took care of my mom whom had MS and helped my grandma whom had dementia, it wears on a chronic pain sufferer. So, kudos to you for everything you do. ❤️
