Cathy I am from the uk 🇬🇧 and my mouth can be like a sewer I am going to be really nice to the arse holes that think Cathy talk’s weird or funny but it doesn’t stop you from watching her dumpster dive . I'm sure someone who knows how to wash that yarn will get it. Great finds. To clean the yarn you just put it into a pair of pantyhose and wash on gentle cycle.

I think if you took the labels off and put the balls of yarn in a pillowcase then machine wash them that may do the trick x

Those lil cards are cute and an awesome find. I love tucking lil cards like those into my fiance's suitcase when he goes on the road truck driving. When he finds them, it's a little piece of home that I add loving, encouraging words for those tough days or nights. He feels the love while be is away. Keep saying score wow cause your excited

In case you can go back before the dumpster is emptied, throw in the yarn with a wet towel and tumble on low in your dryer; might clean off the surface so the skeins can be donated.

Maybe a knitter or crocheter can take the yarn home my grandma used to sprinkle a ziplock bag with talcum powder and shake delicate very fragile old linens that could not be washed. Then shake them and lay them in the sun. The talcum powder helps remove the service dirt and dust happy dumpster diving for those in need🤗 be safe dear lady🙏

Cathie if you come across dirty yarn again. Cover the whole yarn with cheese cloth, anchor the cheese cloth. And wash then dry. Keeps the yarn in place. Can also use a pillow case. Glad to see you!
