Well if you can afford Tom Hanks, sure. This was the Australian tourism campaign. They basically wrangled a whole lot of Australians who were keen to promote their beautiful country. And then Danny McBride who deep down wants to be Australian. We got him for free.

Whatever works. It's bringing in the tourists isn't it? Australia's tourism campaigns in the past weren't doing so well until Paul Hogan pitched his idea that was loads cheaper than that Koala crap our tourism agencies were doing in the late 70's. Add a couple of high profile events to lure the tourists. Then there's the mid 2000's with the failed "Where the bloody hell are you" slogan. This faux film trailer (where everyone pretty much wants it to be an actual movie), revealed at the end to be a tourism ad is highly clever indeed.

They showed it to a limited audience at Imax Darling Harbour in early December... apparently it was awesome! since they couldn't get Hugh, Todd McKenney did a number.

I would pay big money to watch this movie. About the son of Croc Dundee with all this fame Aussie cast and more in it. I love the Croc Dundee movies as a kid growing up in the 80's Australia and still do love it. It was fun watching these movies with my family.
