Besides its thrilling visuals and brutal minimalistic aesthetic, the film succeeds to redefine the idea of possible future based on our current reality. Where the Dark Ages meet year 10191, Jacqueline West and Bob Morgan create a mesmerizing fashion fusion, inspired by the previous adaptations of the novel, sand, rocks, and Balenciaga.

I'm autistic and fashion history and unique fashion (especially cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic) is a huge special interest for me. Dune checks all the boxes and I'm now obsessed with the series. Have the art book, the boxed set and even sewed my own gauze Fremen cape 😊 I've yet to find a quality crysknife (they're sold out everywhere) but I don't think I can keep it with my costume, anyway.

I'm definitely feeling a masculine urge to strut around in Atreides ceremonial uniform. Who knows maybe even with the Duke's golden chains. Personally I think the Atreides uniform is a deep green like their house colour. You can see it in most shots if you look closely, although sometimes due to the relatively dark lighting of the interiors or due to being far away it can appear black, but up close and well lit the green tone emerges.

I love your approach on the medieval style of the costumes because the book feels rather medieval as particular words are used
