For me it’s strange; usually I like the old movies more. But in dune, the new movies are way better in every way, cast, writing, the directing and of course the Special Effects. (The old one is still absolute lovley and cult). But the scene in the new movie with infrared objectives…damn. Or that they used sandscreens instead of greenscreen is great.

Yes, the new one to me is absolutely masterpiece, I loved it! Also, I really liked Kyle MacLachlan (old Paul Atreides) in Twin Peaks 🙏 Have you watched this series?

@@WhatAfter1 not the whole series, but I am familiar with the plot. But I know I have to watch it some day completely. especially because I also love the first Alan Wake videogame. Too bad it’s twin peaks is hard to find in Germany

The new is better, but the original had a fine line up, they needed a better script.
