What better teacher for Paul as to how Harkonnen lead than Feyd-Rautha? Afterall, he was not impressed by neither Raban, nor the Baron. Feyd came close, and as you always learn from your enemies, it was a lesson well taken.

You can tell that Paul is the only person in this entire universe that Feyd seems to "like."
