It's quite a bit better now with the Smart Lock. However I still feel Polaris has the best all wheel drive system.

The important thing isn't what you ride, it's that you get out and ride. All the machines are fun. We bust chops, but at the end of the day no one cares what you ride as long as you are out havin a great time!

What ply tires are those? I'd heard they were 8 ply if so I can't believe that they went flat. We use to have rides like that here in Louisiana that went to Make a Wish for terminally ill kids in Louisiana.

Yea just to hear you talk about it at the first 7 minutes of the vid is great, i know the feeling i have ridden almost my entire life but wasnt tuned in to the s×s yet until my uncle got his and i drove it and went up the mountain with him! From that very day i been hooked!! Its a new intense rush in these animals (aka s×s) and il be definitely getting one soon aswell and get back to pushing the laws of sanity as we all do down here when we ride lol!! Cant wait untill then......KEEP THE VIDS COMING GUYS AND TY FOR EM!!

Started with a 2020 Outlander XT Max. Beautiful machine, but lower back would start to get sore and thumb would go numb from holding the throttle. Switched to a 2020 RZR 1000S. Wouldn’t think of going back. Much more comfortable. Love the “worth age comes a cage”!

These trails look amazing!!! Nice dirt trails are hard to find anymore. Here on the east coast the dirt is gone down below the the surface of the rock which make for a long day haha. Nice footage as usal guys.

gopro 8 is the same way. overheats on me all the time and just shuts off also. Next one will not be a gopro. Great video :)

Ya, the newer GoPro's have been very glitchy. I think it's mostly a power delivery issue. They hate the cold. In the heat with hypersmooth on and if shooting in anything higher than 1080 60 they overheat. Amazing cameras when they work though. I still love them but it's hard to trust them now. I expected more out of #GoPro to be honest.

Ya, definitely sucked! He replaced all 4 when he got home with OEM wheel bearings, lol. I think they were All-Balls bearings actually, because he had replaced them not that long ago. At least it didn't happen at speed and cause an accident. That would have been terrible.

I have a 2017 Wildcat Trail SE. I still have the stock plastic skid protector and it's starting to break around some of the mounting bolts so I guess it's time to get something stronger. Thanks for your recommendations Julian.

I've been running the factory skid plate on my 2017 rzr4 900 and shes taken plenty of hard hits with no significant apparent damage, so I figure I might as well keep using them until they're worse out.

It's difficult finding that balance where you can keep most viewers entertained and interested. Especially in these long videos. Did you find the ride too long or boring at all? I know a lot of people really enjoy these longer rides, they tell me if makes them feel like they are along for the adventure. However, I know many like shorter videos. I have to say this is probably my favourite ride you’ve shared to date. The changes in the trail and environment was unbelievable. What a shame small groups of naysayers have ruined this ride for everyone involved and those supported by the proceeds.

Hey Jon, I'm pumped you enjoyed it. I'm glad you enjoyed the scenery. When I was editing this video I was thinking that some of the shots I got here in the snow are some of the most scenic shots I've ever captured so far. The video doesn't do the true beauty justice. Its such a bummer this ride is cancelled. It was always one of my favorite rides of the season and like I mentioned it went to support such an awesome cause. With this Corona virus crap going on right now it's highly likely it would have been cancelled this season anyways. Maybe we can find a way to revive it in the future.

AdrenalineJunkieProd scary times. I know you’re on the front lines. My wife is an internal medicine doc covering our Icu and inpatients for 3 weeks starting next week. I’m an NP at home right now with our 4 year old and 1 year old boys. Going to be a rough few months. All the more reason to get out and ride.

I don't run a filter, I have it plumbed up high in the bed. I filmed a video of what I did. I'm gonna post it soon. I've been asked about it many times. It's never been contaminated with the way I have it set up.

Are u still running a recirculating bov sounds so good and loud in the video I wanna run a recirculation style due to how much mud i run but still want the sound

Its not recirculating anymore, it's venting to atmosphere. However, I have a custom setup. I plumbed it up high in the bed. Great videos. Live close to the area for this run and have made the trip through there a few times. Question about your Finntrail Gear. Did you get it local or order through their web site and do you recommend it? Warm and dry and mainly dry? Thanks.

Hey Stephen. I recommend the gear 110%!!! Best gear out there. It's not super warm out of the box, it's not really insulated. It's designed for all seasons. All you need to do is layer up. I wear thermals and a pair of thick sweat pants under the waders in the winter and I'm usually quite toasty, even when it's quite cold. They have an American warehouse and I believe they are working on a Canadian warehouse location too if they don't already have it. I'd order right from their site.

Julian, I just bought a 22 XP 1000 but I'm not familiar with it since I don't have it yet because of getting assessories put on it. I've been watching alot of your videos and was wondering what makes the rushing air sound on your RZR. I traded a Wildcat my new machine that's why I'm not familiar with the sound I'm hearing. I put a 1/2" thick poly skid plate on my 2017 Wildcat. That was alot better than the thin factory plate. I also put a 1/2" poly one on my new RZR. Learned my lesson.

Congrats on the new machine!! Yours won't make that sound because it is not a turbo model. The sound you are hearing is the air venting from the intake when the blow off valve opens. I have mine rigged up so it vents to the atmosphere. From the factory its a closed system and it recirculates so you don't hear it.

i totally wannt o buy a general xp and put a towing winch and arm on the back. i want to make a dedicated rescue vehicle that can also double as a first aid truck. went on a ride a few years ago and we had a couple roll down the mountain about 40 to 50 feet they were on atv and we had to have a helicopter show up..

That’s why I became a CFMoto guy I beat the day light out of my on the trails cause I do a lot of hill climbs and a lot of deep mudding

Once you upgrade from stock axles there are no issues with breaking axles. Even stock axles usually hold up decent as long as you arent too rough on them. As for wheel bearings, if you use OEM bearings and grease them regularly they hold together decent. Polaris recently release updated wheel bearings which work even better. They are not hard to replace. If those are the only issues you have with a RZR I'd say they aren't really serious issues at all.

I grease my wheel bearings often. Usually every few longer rides or whenever I'm doing anything around them. At the least you should grease them each oil change.

AdrenalineJunkieProd even with the OEM sealed bearings? Was planning on swapping out to aftermarket later on for ease of maintenance.

All wheel bearings are sealed, oem are generally better quality than most aftermarket. Regardless they could all use some grease now and then, more so if you play in lots of water/mud

how many miles do you get per tank

It really depends on the type of riding and the conditions. High speed heavy throttle you dont get much with the turbo. Same goes for when you run a lot of mud or deep snow due to the load. In mixed condition when I'm not wide open a lot i can get 60-80km so about 40-50 miles. Once I was out ripping hard in mud in 4 high and track type riding and i went through a hole tank in around 20 miles, lol. It was pretty much all full throttle.

you should say where your at in the video it be nice to check it out when i can get a side by side but i am in some issue with the old tax man thanks to crime that was done to me in smith county and state of kansas where the criminals can steal your identity and steal funds from bank accounts and credit cards and be protected from law and justice since there part of the crime even victim of crime in kansas refuse to do anything and even the fbi did nothing for yrs and now i hope that they do something i gave them a dead line or i go public with all list of names and and attorney general from kansas and below list that was envolved in the case and 2 district attorneys in smith county kansas and the sheriff department and local police officers and jailer and several other people that was protected by them for stealing funds from bank accounts and credit card theft and also destroying my home and vandalization, and death threats from judge and a shoot to kill order on me for turning the judges step son in for dealing drug which i dont do any thing unless its from my doctors for issue at the time i hate taken meds but i have asma so i have to have them drugs or i dont breath good in sumer or fall or spring, they target a disable veteran and destroyed my life and my companies as well that i put everything into all my savings and other assets that was stolen that i bought over seas with hard earned wages and the also aid in many attempts on my life and refuse to do the correct thing since they was envolved and hidden under the color of blue and corruption of justice but lets get back to the video it really cool an i wish me an the dog could go crusing with you all but i have rig yet but wanting to build one it will take some time but i might see what i can find thats i can build from i might even build my own rig from junk old cars and might need to find a blower motor from an old car but that might be hard most race cars take that off them after the crash and burn. but the in ks violated every l aw under the land from 2006 to 2020 so i advise people to stay clear of the corruption in smith county kansas and the state of kansas as well just go around the state it be best lot of bad corruption in that state victim of crime refuse to look at evidence in a court room.
