In the outer planes lies Arborea, the home of Olympus and Aravandor, realms of mighty heroes and legendary quests, great beauty and terrible danger. In this primal place, there dwells the Arboreal Dragons, good-hearted but unpredictable champions of goodness and freedom.

Even though i know what these guys look like from the manuals, but for some reason the first image coming to my mind is that of a rose -like dragon. Like it hides in a mass of vines an vegetation with only it's massive head showing that is enclosed in a set of rose-like pedals that ring it's neck, which than open up when something gets close enough an it releases it's thorn breath prior to charging/rushing out of it's cover.

You would think a chaotic good would be the least judging alignment. They might point out that chaotic-netrals are hypocrits, see the lawfulls as too athoritarian, and the evils as cruel... but other than that, I feel like a chaotic good would be pretty lax.

@@AJPickettNah, Ysguard is the spinoff pvp surver. ... Arboria is the main pve campaign setting. - Palion has the dungons. - Olympas (the layer) has the dragons. - The towns of Olympas and Arvandor are the adventurer's home bases, where you go to get new quests, buy stuff, and do downtime activitys. ... In my headcannon, the Chaotic good patitioners are constantly in and out of these two towns: most staying only as long enoguh to pick up a new quest and upgrade and/or restock their equipment. Some may stay longer to do downtime activitys, (i.e. currousing or crafting) recouperate from major injurys, or do good deeds in town.

Oh heck yeah, A nice 20 minute video to enjoy. Keep up the good work! Love the content. I'm a big fantasy gamer but sadly never had a group to D&D with. every time i listen to your videos it's almost like i'm sitting down and playing the game myself. Love your insight and ideas on all these crazy creatures. I'd love to hear you chat about more monsters from the ethereal planes. That concept of phasing between dimensions makes for cool, otherworldly character/monsters in both visual design and their ideals.

Trevor Cormier I'm not so much interested in the act of plane shifting. I'm more interested in their social hierarchy, the food chain, what creatures live their. Kinds of intelligent life. I feel like different kinds of portals and the ways you open and use them could be a video onto itself XD

but how do portals occur in the D&D world? and is it scientific in nature or magical? can they be dispelled? does each portal behave the same. then some back story on any note worthy portals that opened leading to any large events. that was kind of my idea of a vid. I don't really know a thing about them, i feel like if they were that simple there would be more cases of them.

Arboreal sure but what about flower dragons. They could give off pheromones that attract their prey, use their heightened senses to determine its surroundings when in rose-cognito mode (they hide in bushes with their head sticking out, looking just like a bushel of flowers or a single large flower with petals encasing its head) . It's sharp scales stick out sporadically like thorns and instead maybe a poison breath weapon similar to belladonna, itching blast like poison ivy, or acid like the venus fly trap? Also... what about a dragon fruit... and it just dangles its bulbous, fluorescent tail from a tree and waits for some poor schmuck to reach for it and they get chomped instead.

I come to see your vids because D&D lore is hard to just sit down and read between all the books and content that you would have to buy or the million pages just missing on the Wiki's its content makers like you are my only hope pf knowing more then what the DM guide says..... what im saying is personally I don't thank you need streamline and skip to much detail unless its been totally retconned or something. as long as your not talking like your about to pass out during the vids I personally want to learn as much as I can. so keep up the work.

Spikey on the inside... because they're still dragons... mawhahahar... this is one of those vids, that needs more vids. so they're kind of like elf-dragons. i'm figuring they would go well with the Le shay, working with that dark wild ancient magic theme, where the chaos of the faie is just utterly gut wrentchingly terrorfying... but with the twist of being divine - aligned perfectly with nature. are you aligned with nature? perfectly aligned? because if your not... what will happen to you? when will it happen? will it be the trees? the underbrush? the clothes on you bach? the earth beneath your feet? the air you breathe? your own body? your own mind? *poly morphed mercury dragon cartwheels past whisteling an impossible beautiful tune* surely they must know... but are you allowed to ask them? because if your wrong it's going to be even more curses... no point trying to escape the wylde, as the exits have their fealties and aliances if they didn't already move around and open and close at will to toy with you... no don't curse them, else they'll curse you back!?!? in away what i love about that theme is that the fey wylde actually is the entity inturn taming you instead. taming you with unfathomable dread.

The creature I'm thinking about would never share itself with anyone it couldn't overwhelm and eventually dominate. Think of it as a physical avatar of dragon sickness from the hobbit. more than half of this is about things other than the title subject matter, as a rule I love learning about connected subjects but as law your title should be issue to more than half of the posting, and after more than half you have not mentioned the title subject at all. Not one time. It's one thing to think that the time total is going to be comprehensive but it's other issue entirely to spend more than half of that with alludes to little more than rambling. I really think you could have done this better, and maybe take time to learn the value of categorical thinking and presentation because you missed the mark on this one entirely.
