I gotta say, I am consistently impressed by Dungeons and Lasers stuff...

Yeah, we got an extra Highlander Hut due to the way they set up the sprues, quartering the tower, swamp hut, and cage. The Highlander Hut was one of the things I loved the most, and had actually ordered extra ‘village’ add-ons to get more, and ended up with a lot more! 🤣 Since the huts ended up coming with doors on each end, I plan to cut one out with a razor saw to keep for crafting/kit bashing, and fill the now-empty door frame with more horizontal boards, leaving the huts with just a front door. You could also make a small stone chimney in that space with green stuff, etc. Cyanoacrylate (super) glue works fine, but plastic cement is really what you should be using for hard styrene plastic like these miniatures. Tamiya Extra Thin cement is my preferred one. Cement will weld the pieces into one piece of plastic. Make up some sprue goo with the leftover sprues, and you can use that for gap-filling instead of UV resin (and has the advantage of being able to file and clean up the sprue goo for a 100% seamless join). The Hobby Cheating KZfaq channel has a good video on sprue goo (title is something like ‘gap-filling slurry’). Ninjon and maybe Miniac have sprue goo videos as well.

I agree, the little details are amazing. A gnome stuck in the vines on the swamp golem, the rabbit on the stone. Tip: the thicker walled stuff must have deformed cooling. (Tarrasqe, swamp golem, trees, goblin hut roof) If you have gaps using plastic cement, just keep applying more to the seems until the plastic gets squishy you can push it together until there's no gap

Thanks! I am going to experiment with plastic cement a bit. I got a bunch of clearance.

I am chomping at the bit waiting for my pledge to arrive. I got one of everything and a 2x2 mat for the eleven woods.

All their "larger bases" are the size of the Giant as it will fit on one of the D&L tiles.
@Blandco

I never even considered that! Well in any case an easy adjustment to use a huge base.

I got the swamp and the mini set. They all look great. I'll be building them for months. The tarrasque is getting done first just because.

I backed this crowed funded thing, now I am feeling overwhelmed. It is going to take a while to chip through all this stuff.

Pace yourself! It's easy to get this many miniatures and to try to get them all done ASAP.

What are your thoughts on everything coming on a sprue??? Personally I hate it, too many pieces, but I love the detail.
@Blandco

Frankly I prefer it because this cuts down on cost. Assembly might add a couple minutes... But the detail that you get from these more than makes up for it.

I gotta say I am impressed they are improving with the fits. It doesn't take that long to put them together. But....well I guess I am glad there are speed paints.
The longsword duel from THE KING is on point.
