Thanks very much to the wonderful RyeAlboa who provided me with his copy of the trial issue and allowed the series to continue!
The regular issue was actually faithfully close to the trial to begin with, I actually manage to leave one or two pages alone, but then the are more differences to be found as we scroll further back in the magazine. Although strange that parts of this actually were moved back into issue 12, that's quite a far way to push something, much more than one issue back.

Another fantastic comparison! Huge thanks for doing all the legwork for us on these. This is something I was very curious about but would not have been able to gather the trail issues together for a review. 👍

Another great comparison between the two. I guess you could use the tougher ghost stats for higher levels adding a bit more tension to the players 😂

It'd very true. I mean originally they thought a ghost was suitable so it must have been roughly in the right level of Challenge Rating. Perhaps it's something that can be used if running the encounter with an experienced group of players haha

@@franksiegames that was my thought. As the Ghosts attacks and self defence withering Hand made me think that sounds cool lol. But Like you pointed out op for lower levels

@Mark-nh2hs yeah, since looking at this one I've been thinking of trying to run the original encounters with different groups and seeing if they fare any differently or not (although I'm definitely picturing a TPK 😂😂)

@@franksiegames you may not get a TPK with more experienced adventurers lol. You can always modify it slightly to prevent it being way too brutal 🤣
