The saddest and greatest part of the ending is that the Self-Defense Gun absolutely would have killed the boss if Dunkey didn’t miss the shot. Thanks for uploading this masterpiece of a saga, Walter! Edit: Okay I was watching this on my phone the first time around, I realize now that he didn’t miss and that the aiming in RE1 is pretty forgiving. I looked up the damage of the self-defense gun at the time and it seemed like it should have been enough to end the fight but it came up just short.

So dunked knew that his first time getting to the boss was gonna be the bad ending so he made sure to get all the yeezus discs to get the good ending, then decided not to save Chris, even though it’s basic logic that saving Chris would be the good ending.
