Lots of people use France as a transiting country rather than a destination and especially skip the North. Join us as we explore Dunkirk seafront and the Dunkirk museum dedicated to operation Dynamo during WW2.

Great to have you guys back again. Museum looked amazing and has been added to our ever growing list of places to go!! Can't wait to get out on our own European adventure in August now. My guess for the race circuit would be Le Mans.

France is full of places like this, I know they have a lot more space than we do back in UK but it would benefit the local economies.

Enjoy we love Dunkirk especially when the wine festival is on 🤪. We have to wait a couple of months before we can start our 2023 European journey

Ooh a wine festival! If it was a wine and cheese festival, I could probably convince Jon to get involved 😆 ah that sounds exciting, where are you going on your next trip?

@@lifebeyondbricks our next good one will be the summer we are planning coming down the west coast of France into Spain and the heading over to Asturias and then down to Sevilla on the Via de la Plata route. Not sure if will head back up via Portugal or Costas.

Pretty architecture AND ice creams. Who needs more :-) One problem with Northern France - English weather, we need to spend more time in Northern France; we usually just motor down South to get to the better weather. Baguette! Race circuit - I don't know the name, but is it where the Roaming Radfords went? Thanks for sharing. We're really missing France, and not looking likely we'll get there this year :-(

Thanks, Yeah it is a cracking place, we are hoping to do Normandy on our way back. I agree I hear there are some lovely places in the North. Yeah you are right, we are going to visit Reims old racing circuit. Are you not going to get away this year?

@@lifebeyondbricks This year, we're trying to line all our ducks up so I can retire. But that means selling the house first, so there's a load of stuff going on, and I can't really afford (time-wise or cash-wise) to be away in France for any length of time ATM. "My Lord, I have a cunning plan." It's just taking longer than I'd hoped :-)

Ah its all done in the edit. Rosie is 15 years old so you would think she would be slow but she's a little Wippet when she wants to be.
