Well Richard I've been wearing Dunlop wellies my whole life and I've never had a problem with them, sad to hear you have but I think if they didn't discomfort you, you'd enjoy them as much as I have.
@jimsmith89462 жыл бұрын
Dang, we must be related, I have the same problem, that same bone in my foot is an issue in ice skates and many styles of footwear, I had some similar boots and thought it was from them being to tight in the ankle, but with your description now I know why my feet hurt in them, needless to say I guess both of us can wear that style of boot, thanks for the great video. 👍

The Funky Farmer you don’t need the thermal ones you got . The ones you got are worn in cold stores and subzero conditions if you buy the ordinary ones they still have a thermal insert in the sole if you still have cold feet in them put a pair of thin socks over your heavy winter socks unless it’s very cold your feet will be too warm

@papalegba67592 жыл бұрын
i find these not to be as warm as they make out. they're wellies after all, so i still needed 2 pairs of thick socks to get a good fit & my feet still get cold if i stand around a while when it's freezing. they never turn to blocks of ice like they would in normal wellies, but they do get cold. HOWEVER, these wellies are really tough, hard to puncture, and the sole is superbly designed. like, the instep is a big square groove that fits perfectly over ladder rungs, making them super-secure, and the wedge toe really helps with going up slippery/loose slopes. the tread cleans easy & is grippy on any kind of surface. they're also surprisingly well cushioned & comfy to walk around in all day. they're a bit heavy, but when you consider the heft of them (the rubber is over 10mm thick in places & they have full steel toe/shank protection) they're not too bad. basically, if safety, durability, & all-conditions grip are your top priorities in a winter welly these are an excellent choice. if not there are lighter/warmer/comfier/cheaper options out there.

Thats a real shame, nothing is more annoying when you are buying gear/ footwear/ clothes that costs you an arm, and it seems fine when tried it. And then you go use it for some days and it's the opposite of fine. Hope they fit your brother and he can give you an honest opinion on them. Would be nice to hear how it goes with them. You mention that you had some stored videos, do you have any kind of yard work/milking/drying off cows/ scraping/feeding (basic generally winter jobs ) ?

High arch or wide feet will also suffer pain wear Dunlop boots. In winter your feet will freeze with no foot circulation. I also will say that anything colder than negative 15-degree Celsius will have less flexibility with the rubber and I felt a decent amount of cold coming through the bottoms of the boot. I was not impressed.
